An embarrasing way to show my friends their first experience of the UK.
Pros:

it has a nice view at the back while we waited for the fire alarms to be fixed...

Cons:

unreliable staff, given the wrong room and it was never changed. the room had a clogged shower.

Soha többet a&o Docklands.
Pros:

Az elhelyezkedése. A Temze partja szép, szomszédságàban park is talàlható.
Továbbá az itt található komp a szobakártya felmutatásával ingyenesen igénybe vehető.

Cons:

Lift nem működött, a szobákban az ablakokat nem lehetett csak bukóra nyitni, ami azért volt problémás, mert az időközben meghibásodott központi klímaberendezés miatt nem ritkàn 28 fok fölé emelkedett a szobában a hőmérséklet.
Egymás után 2 napon is tűzriadó volt (nem volt valódi oka), a második különösen rosszkor, éjjel fél 3kor történt. Semmi infót a személyzettől nem kaptunk, mikor a többi vendég is visszaindult a szobàkba, mi is így tettünk. A reggeli minősége az értèkelhetetlen kategóriába esik, a kutyámnak különb ételt adok, mint amit itt lehetett enni.
Wifi használhatatlan volt szintén a sok szállóvendég miatt.

Fehlende Kompetenzen
Pros:

Zimmer war groß und passte zu unseren Anforderungen. Der Aufzug funktionierte und auch die Klimaanlage war funktionstüchtig. Alles war sauber. Die Lage ist gut. Die Buslinie C10 fährt aktuell nicht direkt am Hotel entlang. Man muss erst durch einen Park zu einer anderen Haltestelle laufen. Geht aber auch einwandfrei, abends etwas vorsichtiger, auch wenn uns nichts abschreckendes passiert ist.

Cons:

Das Personal ist unglaublich schlecht organisiert. Die Schlangen an der Rezeption sind unglaublich lange und selbst abends um 23 Uhr ist dort immer noch Highlife und Probleme müssen gefixt werden. Da fehlt wirklich an Kompetenz und Erfahrung. Das zeigte sich auch bei einem Fehlalarm der Hausanlage mitten in der Nacht. Keiner wusste etwas und sämtliche Menschen versammelten sich um halb 3 in der Lobby. Es wirkte unglaublich chaotisch und ich war am Ende echt froh, dass es nur ein Fehlalarm war und kein echter Notfall. Da herrschte einfach 0,0 Kompetenz und Erfahrung. Ich weiß, das ist kein tägliches Befangen, aber hier ist dringend eine Schulung des Personals zum Verhalten in Krisensituationen notwendig!

No value for your money
Cons:

No value for the family room price. We paid 340 pounds for two nights, but received a hostel service instead, had to put even bed linen on the beds. Nothing to eat at breakfast. Nowhere to go / nothing to visit near the hotel. The staff was talking with us like our stay was a problem for them.

No AC for a week and a false fire alarm at 2:30am on our last night.
Pros:

It wasn’t as bad as I was fearing

The AC was broken, things were falling apart, everything was a bit gross and there was black mold in our bathroom.

Umístění skvělé, hotel zklamání
Pros:

Skvělá klidná lokalita, a nádherný výhled na Canary Wharf. Bezplatný přívoz na druhou stranu Temže po předložení hotelové kartičky. Následně se dalo dojít do 5 minut na metro a do 20 minut jste v centru Londýna. Kousek od hotelu je malé Tesco, kde se dá koupit třeba svačina na cestu. V hotelu je bar, kde lze do půlnoci o

Cons:

Hotel jsem vybrala hlavně proto, že nabízel hezké pokoje s výhledem na Temži. Nejdůležitější však bylo mít v pokoji dvě samostatné postele, za které jsem si také připlatila. Po našem příjezdu ale nebyl žádný takový pokoj volný, což nám na recepci vůbec neřekli a rovnou nás poslali do pokoje s jednou malou postelí. Po reklamaci jsme dostali dva pokoje, ale každý na jiné straně schodiště - byla jsem se synem, a varianta že budeme takto ubytovaní byla nemožná. Nakonec jsme se museli smířit s tím, že jsme v jednom pokoji na společné posteli. Hotelový personál nebyl ochotný tuto situaci nijak řešit. Pokoj neměl okno, pouze dveře směrem na venkovní společnou chodbu, takže nešlo větrat. Pokoj vůbec nevypadal jako na fotkách, byl vlhký, v rozích byla plíseň, nábytek byl starý a zapáchal. Jednou nás vzbudil hotelový alarm, který řval asi 5 minut. Ručníky nám za celou dobu nikdo nevyměnil. Na poslední den jsme si připlatili za snídani (13 Liber), kromě fazolí, párků a vajec natvrdo tam ale nebylo nic jiného v nabídce.

A bit of a culture shock if you have previously stayed ther whet it was Doubletree Hilton
Pros:

Very comfortable room

Cons:

No water tumbler in bathroom. When we asked were told they did not provide them and gave us a plastic coffee cup.
No coffe making in room, but coffee available from machine in reception - ata charge.
The dining room and bar are very basic compared to when the hotel was Doubletree Hilton

Lage und Preis sind super

Cons:

Wir hatten ein privates Zweibettzimmer gebucht und wurde bei Ankunft in ein Gemeinschaftszimmer mit einem freien Bett zugeteilt. Das konnte schnell geklärt werden und wir bekamen sofort ein anderes privates Zimmer zugeteilt.
Leider wurden wir aber dann in beiden Nächten davon geweckt, das plötzlich eine andere Fremde Person in unserem Zimmer stand, da ihr auch dieses Zimmer zugeteilt wurde. Einmal kann so etwas passieren, aber in jeder Nacht ist es doch sehr lässtig und verunsichernd! Das internen Buchungssystem bitte noch verbessern!
