We liked the location being slightly away from the main hub, but St. George station is right by the hotel using lines 1&2 so you can be totally central in under 10mins. We had breakfast included which was great and there was wine offered from 5pm-6pm with nibbles and additional coffee and muffins in the lobby each morning. Staff were terrific would definitely stay again
Die Lage ist toll
Das Frühstück ist richtig schlecht. Beim Frühstück war die Bedienung unfreundlich und die Qualität der Speisen auf Fast Food Niveau. Die Polsterbänke waren kaputt.
Friendly staff, clean environment, great breakfast and super location.
The valet are a bit slow and no communication on the cost of parking.
Nice room. Nice toiletries. Lovely touch from team for a birthday treat. Wonderful breakfast
No waters in room. Only noticed water refill after check out. Service for breakfast and dining was hit and miss
Great location
Dining room needs some refurbishment
Staff. Location, view from the rm
We only stayed one night after a long flight but seemed a super nice hotel with free parking
It is contemporary and beautifully designed

We (a family of 4) stayed here recently for 2 nights as part of a multi-stop holiday across Canada and the US. We can’t praise it enough. A very stylish, boutique hotel with a lovely bar / restaurant and gorgeously decorated rooms. Even the lifts and corridors give off an air of understated luxury. Despite having a modern scandi- style interior, It was also very cosy throughout. We were there in a heatwave but I imagine the reception in the winter being very atmospheric (and I think it had a feature fireplace). There was also a 5 o clock wine hour every day which was a nice touch with was accompanied by snacks such as pizza. And although breakfast wasn’t included, there was free coffee and muffins which we enjoyed. We didn’t eat in the bar/restaurant so can’t comment on the food, however the Italian restaurant next door was brilliant and there was also some lovely cafes across the street. It was a great location (university district) - very leafy and fairly quiet but with just enough going on for a young family to go out in the evening. The subway station was just a 5 minute walk away and this got you a 10 minute ride to Union Station / downtown Toronto. And one day we walked which was about 40 mins and was a pleasant route. My only criticism of this hotel was that our room wasn’t quite big enough. We were all clambering over our suitcases. However this wasn’t enough to put a dampener on our stay. Would 100% stay here again.
I only had one breakfast, and didn't order correctly. My fault. Twice I was rushed so instead of breakfast enjoyed the fresh blueberry muffin and coffee! The staff was so nice, and pleasant and friendly, and helpful. And the atmosphere was like home away from home, with the cold water, the lemonade, the tea and the coffee. Hopefully I shall come again next year!! Thank you very much.
Nothing.
This is not a good hotel. The room and bathroom are too small. There’s a naked bulb with no shade in the room entryway. The frig doesn’t work. The lobby has dirty carpets. The furnishings are cheap. The housekeeper kept opening the window even on smoky days. This is not a boutique hotel.

Didnt have breakfast.
Limited F&B
Location and Richard on the reception was very welcoming
Elevator was not functioning properly during our stay.
Just spent 4 days at the St. George. Luxury? No. The best thing about all Kimpton hotels is the pet policy. We travel with our cat, and we always appreciate the policy that "if your pet fits in our elevator, they are welcome." In regard to the room, the bathroom was very disappointing. Lighting was low and bad, and the bathtub, though very deep, made it accessible to stretch out (without possibly drowning), which was very difficult. The water pressure from the shower was good, but the 3-4 inch tiled edge around the tub made the shower water pool so badly that even with the curtain, water pooled so badly outside the tub that an entire towel needed to be wasted to clean it up. Overall, the bathroom was just small. The most disappointing part of the hotel was the morning and early afternoon concierges. There was an older man who wore a full mask (his priority, of course) that seemed to not know the meaning of the word "hospitality." He was curt and gave monosyllabic answers to questions. The other female concierge was just as surly. Not very welcoming or helpful. One last point was that there are not complimentary coffee makers in every room. Upon arrival, we asked the front desk for a Nespresso machine to be sent up. It did not show up that night, nor the next day. So, we asked again the next morning; again, there was no coffee maker. It was not until the evening of our second night that the only pleasant male concierge actually got us a coffee maker. Side note, even though Google told us before the trip that the hotel also offered Keurig machines as well as Nespresso machines, the only machines they offer are Nespresso machines. If you have ever used one of those, they are completely inferior to the Keurig. I would not recommend this hotel if you are visiting Toronto. The staff was good, but 2 of the 3 concierges we encountered were just miserable people who conveyed a sense that they not only do not want you to be there, they do not want to be there. Someone needs to give them a crash course on what the word "hospitality" actually means.
