Never book when it is hot
Pros:

The location is perfect.

Cons:

This hotel is utterly unprepared for the new normal: hot summers in Northern Germany. The room was boiling hot. The staff made no effort, trying to accommodate me or compensate me in any other way. If you plan to book this hotel during the summer make sure you have free cancellation in case it is hot.

The shower was so badly designed it was practically impossible not to flood the whole bathroom.

Im Sommer nicht wieder, im Winter würden wir es wegen der Lage nochmals buchen.
Pros:

Die Lage an den Landungsbrücken war super, da wir ins Musical wollten.

Cons:

Wir hatten das heißeste Wochenende des Jahres und wir hatten keine Klimaanlage, mussten nachts das Fenster offen lassen und konnten deshalb die Vorhänge auch nicht schließen. Geschlafen haben wir kaum, zu heiß, zu hell, zu laut. Die Rooftop-Bar war noch heißer als unser Zimmer und sehr klein, insgesamt enttäuschend. Auf unsere Nachfrage konnte man uns keinen Ventilator zur Verfügung stellen. Allerdings hat man uns deshalb beim Check out die Parkgebühr erlassen.

Gelungen
Pros:

Der Service im ganzen Haus war sehr zuvorkommend und freundlich und auch das Frühstück war sehr abwechslungsreich und lecker. Die Aussicht von der Terrasse aus war beeindruckend.

Cons:

Da wir an einem wirklich heißen Tag angereist sind , hätte uns eine Klimaanlage den Schlaf erleichtert.

Pros:

Die Lage und der Ausblick waren super. Direkt an den Landungsbrücken gelegen. Perfekt für Ausflüge. Das Frühstück war reichhaltig

Cons:

Das Personal war teilweise sehr hochnässig. Der Service stellenweise überlastet.
Die Luft im Zimmer abgestanden. Fenster im 4 Stoch lassen sich nicht öffnen

Hübsches toll gelegenes Hotel kann die Erwartungen aufgrund des Preises leider nicht erfüllen.
Pros:

Die Lage des Hotels ist sehr gut; das Personal ist sehr freundlich.

Cons:

Die Zimmer sind extrem klein - Preis Leistung passt hier einfach nicht.
Das Frühstück muss dazugebucht werden - Preis total überhöht.
Zimmer mit Blick in den Innenhof - genau Zugang zur Bar. Dementsprechend Lärm. Keine Klimaanlage. Wenn man die Fenster geöffnet hat ist der Innenhof (Parkplatz und Zugang zur Bar) einfach zu laut.
Für dieses Preissegment passt hier Preis Leistung einfach nicht.

Pros:

Perfekte Lage um Hamburg zu erkunden, über den Landungsbrücken, S/U Bahn daneben. Zu Fuß bis zur Reeperbahn möglich. Ein schönes Hotel. Wir waren vor 17 Jahren schon mal da, eigentlich ist alles wie damals im positiven Sinne.

Cons:

Parken ist relativ teuer und manchmal beengt.
