Sheraton Suites Fort Lauderdale West

I can express how much we enjoyed staying here. Wendy at the front desk was a god sent.
The staff at the restaurant/ bar were all very nice and just a pleasure to talk too. Not to mention the food was delicious.
Hotel was clean / rooms clean/ pool clean gym clean.
Highly recommend.

MMy wife and I enjoyed our stay it was a lovely hotel with a great view. When being checked-in, KynZeniah’s lovely smile and joyful demeanor made us feel really welcomed. We definitely look forward to coming back!

The property was very nice visually.

This might be one of the worst I’ve stayed at. Parking is across the street, my door had to have engineering come work on it and finally when I was ready for a shower it was freezing cold. I work out of town about 190 days out of the year and I typically stay at Marriott’s and this one was the worst honestly. Here it is 9pm and I can’t even shower without freezing.

This is allegedly the nicest hotel in Plantation. The reception staff were great and the servers in the bar and the restaurant were exceptional. The room appointments are generally fine except for three things. First, I have a standard request in my Bonvoy profile for a high floor room, because for some reason I find those usually to be less trafficked and perhaps treated more gently by guests with a little status. However, were placed on the 3rd floor. I thought okay fine. But I immediately noticed the carpets were filthy (my second peeve) and thought it was because it was a less desirable room so I asked to change (I don’t even like being that person but it was ruining my vibe!). The staff very graciously allowed me to look at several rooms on the 8th floor to see if we wanted to move, but they all had dirty carpets, and some of them were even smaller, so we decided to suck it up and deal with our “upgrade” on floor 3, which was only an upgrade because it had a walk-in shower. Then, the room looked out over the concrete rooftop of the hotel atrium (third peeve). Rest assured, the view from the other side of the building is no better, it’s a construction site. That’s not something the hotel can control, but just so you know - if you’re looking for a bucolic view of greater Fort Lauderdale and surrounds, this ain’t it!!

I’m mostly loyal to Marriott, but I’ve had a few disappointments occasionally. This was a Sheraton, so not a pinnacle brand, but it is supposed to be the flagship of the Marriott marquee in that area. Have the breakfast, have a drink at the bar and I think that holds true, but not so much in the room maintenance department. Why have carpets at all, put in LVP or tile!

From the moment we arrived, Kynzeniah made us feel so welcome! She checked us in quickly and efficiently while being incredibly kind, professional, and genuinely friendly. Her warm personality and positive attitude set the tone for our entire stay. She went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed and answered all of our questions with a smile. It’s rare to meet someone who provides such outstanding customer service and truly cares about creating a great guest experience. Thank you, Kynzeniah, for making our check-in so easy and enjoyable! You are an incredible asset to the hotel, and we hope to see you again on our next visit!

The hotel was just as you would expect look wise, had all the things you needed. What really stuck out was the Hospitality, from one individual herself. As soon as we arrived Kynzeniah was warm, welcoming, and made you feel so comfortable. She got us checked in early, and that’s not where it stopped. Anytime we walked in the lobby she would always greet us. She even delighted us. This is the kind of service more people need to have in this industry and really do not. You would think from her service you are staying in a luxury resort. Many could learn from her. Beautiful stay overall! Thank you Kynzeniah.

The location , clean and nice place

Exceptional experience. The hotel is welcoming and the staff is highly professional. Accommodations were clean, comfortable and quiet. We enjoyed the food service, always service with a smile. The gathering spaces and meeting area were tech ready and comfortable.
