Beware - this hotel will get overwhelmed when hosting youth sports teams in town for local tournaments. The staff simply could not handle the crowds and as a result the hotel was loud, dirty, and did not operate well.
I can’t say enough about this property and the staff. They are amazing, the property is well maintained. Definitely one of the best Hyatts I had the pleasure of visiting.

A beautiful looking hotel, rooms appeared to be small, very little space for clothes and no reheating equipment in room. There was a small microwave in the market area near the front desk. Speaking of dining options, very limited and very expensive ($6.00 for a soda). However, the rooms were extremely clean and housekeeping was phenomenal. It looks like the hotel can accommodate any size function.
Great experience at this hotel. We were visiting Irvine for a team competition, and the hotel staff was very accommodating and nice. The pool area was also great and the kids had a blast. Restaurant was convenient and decent, and the kids menu offered meals at great prices. The location was also very convenient. It was within 10 minutes to a lot of stores and restaurants. Overall it was a great stay!
Just average! No closet in the room (hooks for clothes). Crowded and noisy on main floor. Too many conferences and big parties. Coffee shop staff rudeness.
Very pretty, clean hotel. Close to beach and many good restaurants. The pool area is beautiful along with cozy firepits to sit around in the evening.
This place was so clean and the staff was absolutely amazing. From the front desk, to the valet, house keeper! Love it so much

The location is an office park wasteland, so don’t expect to stroll around and enjoy nature. That said, there is a shopping center about 8 minutes (walking) with a grocery store, CVS, and a few fast casual restaurants. My King room was spacious and very clean. If there has been 2 of us sharing, I would have wanted a real closet and more than 2 small drawers. Since it was just me, I had plenty of room and enjoyed the space. There was enough seating for having a few friends by for a drink! The marketplace restaurant and bar had plenty of offerings, with fairly typical selections and hotel prices.
Overall it was a nice stay with Hyatt regency Irvine. The pool was a nice place to visit with a big screen to watch the World Cup games. We also enjoyed the club visits for afternoon snacks and a breakfast. Breakfast needs to be booked through the front desk.
we were there on 6/11/2026 and the housekeeping provided us with some hand towels that had brown stains on them. In my opinion, these towels should not be placed in guest rooms once stains are noticed, as it feels very unsanitary.
In addition, the water pressure from the bathroom sink was extremely slow, which made it inconvenient to use throughout our stay.
My 2nd stay at this property. Both stays were outstanding in every regard. Globalist benefits are terrific. Very large waters in the room, great upgrade to a suite with a view, no parking fees or ressort fees. The lounge is one of the better ones I've visited. The fact there still is a lounge is big plus. They have a seating for breakfast and a seating for dinner. Taco Tuesday is GREAT.
Food in the lounge is excellent as is the service. Can't say enough good things about this property.
