A fantastic beautiful hotel with excellent facilities.. be very mindful of the room you choose!

Location was perfect and front of house team excellent

Cons:

I chose the wrong room as the room I chose was an internal view only. Meaning I couldn’t open my curtains as I looked straight into the room opposite. I had cabin fever by the end of my 5 days not seeing the sky and when in the room feeling trapped!

Aamiainen oli ok mutta ei vastinetta rahoille.
Rakennus itsessään upea.

Cons:

Jouduimme vaihtamaan huonetta kolmeen kertaan ja loppujen lopuksi saimme huoneen jossa ei toiminut ilmastointi. Ulkona oli lämmintä 32c.

Timeless elegance with a touch of history
Pros:

This hotel is a historic gem, a truly unique place where every detail holds special significance. Housed in an ancient building with rich heritage, it is located right next to the Federal Parliament of Switzerland. The rooms are spacious, the bed is super comfortable and the shower excellent. The food and service is like in the old good times. The hotel has also a terrace overlooking the Aare River, the Kirchenfeld bridge, and the distant Bernese Alps.

A spectacular view from our 219 room. Every aspects of the hotel is at the top, including a warm hospitality. Our next time in Bern we hope to stay in the same room of this magnificent building.

Pros:

If you are looking for a real 5* hotel then look no further. Everything is walking distance and everyone is very helpful which is what you’d expect, but in some 5* hotels standards are slipping

Excellent. Bon choix de mets. Thé un peu fade (nous sommes habitués aux thés de Mariage Frères alors nous sommes un peu difficiles)
