Absolutely loved it here! They were so accommodating! The staff really looked out the whole trip!! Def book here for your next DC trip!! Breakfast, summer yummy, Happy Hour Lit situation! And the Metro was connected to the hotel!!! VERY convenient!

Pros:

Happy hour assez incroyable avec verres et nourriture offerts tous les jours. Chambre assez vaste.

Cons:

Lit pliant non fait à l’arrivée. Piscine et surtout salle de sport jamais nettoyée en 5 nuits. Pas de draps de bain. Machines cassées. Personnel d’accueil peu au fait (changements dans les transports, monnaie pour la lessive). Personnel bar et cuisine très sympa. Autre chose spécifique : des fenêtres donnent des chambres dans les couloirs.

Pros:

Breakfast was great. The omelets were fantastic. The gym has all the equipment you could ask for! They have a complimentary happy hour with nachos and mixed drinks! Everything about this hotel was great! Access to Trader Joe's or the metro with a quick elevator ride. Great experience overall!

The nearby stores were great. The pool and hot spa were awesome. The refrigerator was actually COLD. The happy hour free soda. The hotel was very calm and quiet. The pool area was in the penthouse on the top floor. Pretty cool. Surprise housekeeping when we got back from shopping. I wish they hadn't taken our paper bags from Trader Joe's because we were going to use them, but it was still nice to receive surprise housekeeping. Thank You. And most of all...Check in was absolutely wonderful. I believe it was just 60 seconds and we had our room keys. Very easy check in. Thank you again. The windows were big and had nice views. I love the blackout curtains.

The WiFi was absolutely horrible. I've never been to a hotel where the WiFi was not free with room purchase. And it did not work and I am a Hilton Honors member. It was humid in the lobby but overall, acceptable hotel temperature. It's alright. The hot breakfast was only given if we had a breakfast ticket. Once the tickets are gone, you get no more hot food. But I do agree with the ticket process because I wouldn't want my hotel's food to be wasted. One plate should be enough. We shouldn't be greedy, But I wanted another omelette. The pool lady told us to get towels from the front desk but we wasted time going all the way back down to the lobby because the front desk told us they didn't have any towels to give us. A little irritated but my daughter found a few towels in the fitness room, so we used those. The hotel did not refill the towels in the fitness room the following days we stayed. Then One of the elevators stopped working. It ALSO kept skipping floors, so I had to keep pushing the buttons to make sure it would finally stop on the floors we needed it to stop on. And I understand saving money, but the ice machines were only on two floors. We had to travel to Another floor just to get ice. I wish there was a machine on every floor. Still cool though. Another thing I didn't like was not having television access to Netflix OR YouTube. But we made due with regular TV channels. No big issue. My daughter and I were looking forward to walking around the pavilion but the only place available was the downstairs arcade room. Not exactly what the pictures advertised. But no problem at all. Also, the plug sockets in the room did not work. We had to find a good firm socket to plug everything up. Although we enjoyed our stay, I'm sorry to say this Embassy Suites location will not be visited again. And it's all because of the WiFi. It went out every 3-4 minutes.

The location was great. The staff was helpful and kind. Maria was great and especially the young lady at check in.

Cons:

The bedding and the towels were stained along with hair on the bedding. I felt that possibly the sheets had not been changed. I asked for clean sheets and had to do it myself. The shower drain appeared clogged and water pooled when ever we showered.
