Very good view (islands), probably one of the best stays in Hiroshima. A for-free shuttle bus is running from the main train station (every hour). Everybody very friendly - especially nice: the guys that were waving when leaving by boat / bus.
The Japanese restaurant in the hotel was a disappointment. We were rather early for dinner and the food did not make the impression to be very fresh (e.g. rice rather dry). We both took the 9,000 YEN per person menu. On the invoice they showed 11,000 per person - afterwards they explained that this was based on service fees and tax. We have been travelling for weeks in Japan, never experienced it that way. Our hotel room was rather outdated.
Standaard kamer is al heel groot en comfortabel.. Mooi uitzicht over de haven. Relaxte sfeer.
We paid 31 euro per night and person for a room with an ocean view, what a steal!
Room are fairly large and the free shuttle to hiroshima station helped a lot!
At this price tag you need to pay 10 more to have access to the onsen.
The room are a bit old and the water room bar handle wasn't fixed anymore.
I'm not a fan of the wc inside the water room (bath and shower).
The matress are a bit hard.
I'm mixed about the location, on one hand it's very quiet and beautiful, on the other hand, you're like 40-50 min away from everything without a car.
The view is incredible and the hotel is clean, staff is professional. I wish they paid their staff more because one staff in the lobby seemed kind of sad.
The onsen and gym are extra, but the price is too high. I suppose people pay for it, since the price is that high. If they equip the gym properly with boxing bag, more stuff, or have the price be maybe 400 yen, then everyone at the hotel would be using it constantly.
Lack of food choices and the price. No where to do your washing
