Cons:

The hotel has no windows, which is why the room is terribly stuffy. It is especially difficult to sleep at night. The climate control system does not provide ventilation in the room. This problem is felt as soon as you enter the hotel, despite the fact that the doors are often opened and the lobby is aired.
This was the biggest drawback of this hotel, which nullified all the other positive aspects.

Great staff and breakfast, but the room cleanliness needs significant improvement.
Pros:

The staff and reception team were very friendly, welcoming, and helpful throughout my stay. The breakfast was also excellent with a good variety of fresh options.

Cons:

Unfortunately, the room was very dusty and did not feel properly cleaned. It triggered my allergies from the first day, which made the stay uncomfortable.

Would not stay if the air conditioning system isn’t working
Pros:

Good location, clean, safe and close to my interests. Vincent from the reception was the highlight from out stay, and the breakfast was good.

Cons:

We had 32 degrees during our stay and the airco wasn’t working, the windows did not open, so we could not sleep. We were really tired and unfortunately due to the lack of comfort we had an awful night at mercure.

Pros:

El personal es amable y atento. Me gustó que me ofrecieran un cupón por ser miembro del club para comprar bebida/comida. La habitación es grande y la cama es cómoda.

Cons:

La habitación no tenía luz central: solo había lámparas en los laterales de la cama y en la entrada de la habitación pero le falta luz general. Tampoco tiene luz en la parte del escritorio para poder trabajar con el portátil. El baño no tenía escobilla. El wifi no iba bien, se iba de vez en cuando.

Cons:

The room I booked was with a full size bed but it turned out it’s made up of two small mattress. They are uneven and it hurts my back and my boyfriend’s too. That is really disappointing… I paid 160+ euros for an experience of backache… and the customer service is not responding at all to my message. I love Antwerp but I will never choose this Mercure anymore.
