Unfortunately this was a last resort booking due to other properties being fully booked after flights were cancelled
There was a decent restaurant on the property
The fried chicken wings were good
The gentleman who drove us to the airport on the 7am shuttle in the shuttle said he could only drive us to some or other bridge where we would need to take a different shuttle to the airport
I was travelling with my two children so I needed a direct transfer to the terminal
I was ready to take an uber and when I informed him of this he said if I give him ‘something’ he would drive us directly to the terminal.
I told him I didn’t have cash and he told me I could use some sort of cash transfer eft but I said I was from out of country
He said it was fine that we should just climb in and he drove us directly to the airport terminal anyway so I was a bit confused
I did not have the understanding the previous evening when I inquired at the hotel that the shuttle doesn’t actually take guests directory to the departure terminal
The facilities were clean enough but it smelled old
The chairs were filthy and had burnt cigarette marks
It was evident from the smell that people were smoking cannabis in the hotel on the floor that I was booked on
I was moved to a different floor as a result after I let the hotel know
It felt quite unsafe

The room was disappointing, pillows had cigarettes burns , size of pillows were too small , remote for TV didn't work, room need updating mo coffee maker or water.
No breakfast. Location good.
No tea or coffee in the room.

No hand towels, shampoo, soap, hair dryer, iron or ironing board
Was not given WiFi access
Waited an hour and a half to get a hair dryer
Housekeeping staff was friendly and helpful.
Parking attendant was ruded and unhelpful. Cars parked consistently in handicap ♿️ parking spaces with "No" handicap placards/plates, Unacceptable! Front desk clerk (Sara) did not provide a "Welcome" greeting, but immediately ask for confirmation # instead of photo ID to check registration. She was not knowledgeable about the hotel amenities when asked. When checking out (5 am)of hotel the front desk clerk "never"acknowledge (Good morning, How was your stay?) me.
The only thing I liked about the hotel was the location from the comedy show, which was literally across the street. I didnt have to move my car
Upon arrival, the front desk did not greet me properly in my opinion. As a guest to a new hotel, i was given papers and just told to sign. I was not informed what I was signing for, though I did read them before signing. I had to ask if there was a security deposit. I was told to get on the elevator, but was aware that I had to scan my room key to go to my floor. Once the elevator was pulled back down, a worker scanned his and i figured it out. Once getting to the room, it was trash under AC unit, only 1 washcloth (2 guests) in the room, and the air was not working properly.
Kifejezetten drága, bunkó személyzettel, not working AC!, fals alarm, not working gym, not working rooftop, bad customer service. SCAM hotel for big money.
Historic grand hotel with an elegant old Hollywood style lobby, right on the park. very convenient location ( with free shuttle ) to EWR and Train Station for a quick ride to Manhattan. Lots of food options within a block walk. wonderful front desk staff. Secure parking for $23/ day - leave the car, take the hassle free PATH Train to Jersey City & NYC for the day.
