Location, cleanliness, comfortable bed, good shower, helpful staff
The room was very comfortable and clean. The staff were also very nice and I appreciated the simple breakfast offered of muffins and coffee in the lobby. I also thought the hotel was in a great location which made it easier to visit different attractions around historic Philly.
Can't think of anything! Really enjoyed staying here.
lovely place, clean, lovely people.
Really good location with public transport very close, allowing easy trips to the sights/attractions. Comfy room. There are lots of restaurants of all kinds within a few minutes walk.
No fridge in room.
Despite a 25% discount for food and drink in the hotel restaurant, the food was very overpriced and not very good.
Steep steps to main entrance with suitcases not the best.
The staff was extremely friendly and very helpful when we had a question to ask....the room was quiet and spacious....the attached restaurant was great/wonderful food and wine.....convenient location and was able to walk everywhere.
Wish there was a fridge in the room....I have a special diet right now (health issue) and it was a bit tricky to keep my morning meals without one..... not a complaint, just a wish:)
Sweet little hotel located within walking distance of lots of restaurants, bars and historical sites in Old Town. The staff were very pleasant and accommodating. Room 300 has a view of the river and a gas fireplace. We highly recommend!
It was really down to earth place. If you are looking at checking out the historical spots great location most of the places were about . 04 miles away so about 10 minutes walking.
Soany places to eat I that area as well. So you won't have to worry about it. There is a great breakfast spot that is about 4 minutes away too.
Whenever my husband and I want to get away from the hustle and bustle of New York City, we head to Philadelphia. We always look forward to staying at The Penn's View Hotel. It's a beautiful Boutique Hotel that is located close to Penn's Landing, The Liberty Bell and Independence Hall with lovely views of the Delaware River.
The staff is absolutely wonderful. We were greeted by Front Desk Agent, Robert who was very gracious and charming. His welcoming attitude, professionalism and prompt assistance were outstanding.
We are always happy to see the Front Desk Manager, Antonio. He is is a hands on Manager who goes above and beyond to ensure the comfort of every guest. He made sure that we were happy with our room and told us in detail about all of the amenities the hotel had to offer. Antonio is one of the reasons why we keep coming back. He really knows how to make a guest feel special.
The Hotel has a lovely Italian restaurant, Panorama. The food is delicious and it's nice to be able to dine without leaving the premises. The wine bar is excellent also. As a matter of fact It's in the Guinness Book Of World Records as the holder of the World's largest wine selections. We love the Wine Flights and tastings.
As for the rooms, they are all beautiful (we've stayed in many) but we now always book the Premium Rooms with fireplaces and views of the River - So romantic!
We really enjoyed our delightful getaway . We look forward to returning - soon.
Very well located
la ubicación es insuperable , de lo mejor de la zona
muy ruidosa y no fueron el colchón y las almohadas lo mejor
Great location. History of property good. Parking next to hotel. Employees very helpful!!! Panorama restaurant was excellent!!! Bartender was very very good!!! Thank you.
Room was very dusty. Need shower instead of tub.
Comfortable, clean room with a great shower. I really appreciate the magnified mirror in the bathroom. It was a great location for the historic sites that we wanted to walk to.
We enjoyed our stay. We stayed two nights in Penn’s View Hotel.
It is at a great location, the corner of Front and Market. The staff were friendly, professional and helpful. They gave us good information about the area.
The room was clean, well-stocked and everything worked. The morning coffee and muffins were a nice surprise.
Any issues were quickly resolved.
There might be a problem if you are mobility challenged. You have to negotiate a few stairs to enter/leave the hotel.
Our sleep quality was poor because there was a lot of street noise at night. We are sensitive to noise and had requested a quiet room.
