First I wanna say thanks to Frank the Bartender who made us hot toddies to help fight the colds we caught… his Saint Catherine is one for the books! Then there was Pierre who was attentive to our needs, ensuring that housekeeping finally came to our room, getting our car pulled when the valet took too long, and sharing that there was another hotel pool available to us…despite other staff not mentioning it the first 5 days. Now for the review 🤔…
Location: Perfectly tucked 60’ from Bourbon Street
Atmosphere: Quiet
Rooms: in desperate need of a deep cleaning, baseboards and furniture were laden with at least 2 inches of dust and dirt. Beds were okay, not bad but not great either… plantation shutters didn’t keep the light out so you were awakened at daybreak…towels were basic and rough… basic TV channels and the picture was not clear on all channels… no refrigerator but we learned on day three that you can get a small chiller it you ask… the maid service is the worse, somedays they came too early, somedays not at all… they don’t clean the shower or wipe down the sink, they don’t vacuum or sweep the floors, and they have a nasty attitude when you ask them for services….
Value: Good Price point for the location
And hasn’t worked in weeks!
Right next to all the action on Burbon Street. Quiet clean classy hotel with comfortable beds to rest on in-between dancing drinking and eating. Great value and walk ability to everything. Pierre the concierge
Pierre was great, he made sure we knew where things was located and the best dinning spots. Truly greatful.
We had a good stay staff was excellent friendly and very helpful. Great location, just I'm skipping a jump away from bourbon..
The pool was out and there was an issue with the AC1 evening, but not a problem. They had people ride out at fixing it.

We loved our stay at Hotel le Marais!! We loved being right in the midst of the French Quarter. We were able to walk everywhere we wanted. The employees Pierre and Ricardo made our stay even better with their friendly attitudes and helpful hints. I also used the fitness room both days I was there and it was clean, everything in working order and all that I needed for a vacation workout. Thank you Hotel le Marais for giving my daughter and I great, safe place to make forever memories.
Very clean hotel and staff was very friendly. Alberta dnd Michelle were helpful and so very nice!
In need of a refurbishment. We should have complained and moved rooms. Great location however. The lift was scary. We stopped taking it. We stayed three nights. Royal street is lovely. Bourbon street is crazy . Dints in furniture . Our worst by far hotel of our stay. We didn't book it our travel agent did. We wouldn't return.
Great location
The location
Pool was dirty, they didn’t clean my room well.
Some staff have been amazing.
Much homeless and drug use around, smells like garbage or actual poop around the hotel.
This building is very old, and much accommodations you would get at other hotels are not here.
I met 2 women and one guy while here, and the service has been great by the two women alone.
The king room I got at 508 feels dirty. Even after a shower, it's not a great feeling after.
I personally do not drink, I do not use drugs or smoke. If someone does use these substances, then maybe the spot is best for that type of life. Lots of homelessness, public drug use, drunks, horrible smells, and prostitution in this area. It's best to go to a place outside French Quarters such as Magazine Street.
Great location, nice rooms and friendly helpful staff. Our room was clean but certain things needed a bit more attention. The skirting boards had obviously not been cleaned in quite some time the same with the sliding door to the bathroom, there was also something strange looking on the ceiling that I chose not to look at too closely.
