Scam

Cons:

The room was old and had a weird smell of damp. The light was not working in the first room so we had to switch and it was the same in the other one. We didn’t get housekeeping for 2 days in a row, and when I asked for someone to come I had to empty my own trash and return the used towels myself. This is unacceptable when you pay for a service. Finally, someone ate at the restaurant and apparently put the bill on my room, I was charged for a meal that I never ate ! We never used the hotel’s restaurant during our stat and I paid for someone else’s meal when we ordered in and ate in our room that night ! I’ve never seen such a scam.

It was okay but I would not book again.
Pros:

It was close proximity to where my daughter was dancing at. The staff was very friendly. The room was spacious.

Cons:

The carpet in our room was dirty and sticky in some spots. Our air conditioner sounded like a motorcycle when it kicked on. The elevator was very run down and sometimes would not work. The pool was ice cold.

Pros:

The manager on duty, during my check-in, and the staff, during my visit, were very friendly and accommodating. The entire facility was very clean. The hotel was near all the amusement parks.

The breakfast was great, the room was nice and clean. The staff was absolutely wonderful and accommodating.

Cons:

The elevators were a bit scary, they both sounded very sketchy and felt very shaky. The carpet in the hallways had, I'm guessing, big bleach stains. I think our room had a dog previously because we had allergies the whole stay.

Battle worn & in need of serious repairs
Pros:

The lock to my door did not operate properly, failing to lock. The bathroom walls had water damage.
The paint they used to refurbish the tub was peeling. The tile floor in the elevator was shattered to bits. The elevator was frequently out of service. On the 4th floor, we had sugar ants in the bathroom. Even the park bench outside the front door was broken.

Not worthy of the Sheraton/Marriott brand.

Great staff, shabby rooms, unheated pool.
Pros:

A total five star 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 for the staff. Every single person we interacted with during our four night stay was kind, helpful, and welcoming.

The public areas of the hotel were nice too. Loved the restaurant for breakfast.

However. Our room, a suite, was downright shabby. It was dark, musty, and unattractive. Lots of patches on the paint, a big crack through the floor of the shower, no towel bars, no overhead lights. The only light in the bathroom was in the shower.

The pool was apparently unheated. Very cold. Friends staying elsewhere had nice, warm pools and could enjoy this amenity. Disappointing.

Loved the proximity to the west concourse of the convention center. Very convenient.

Probably wouldn’t stay here again unless we knew the pool ( which looked lovely) was usable and the rooms were freshened up.

The elevator only worked intermittently and was closed down completely on checkout day.

Again, kudos to the staff. You all do a great job.

Awesome Hotel

The room was awful. There was no light to work in the "executive suite". The shower was a slip and fall hazard and the whole room felt wet afterwards because there is no bathroom ventilation fan.
