Nastiest place ever! I can not believe my experience! 1st room one bed had no skirting around it and box spring was just nasty! One bed was 4 inches shorter than the other, no towels and smelled. Asked for new room 2nd room walked in and said it smells in here! Went in bathroom and about vomited! Human crap was in the toilet! Girl gave us a 3rd room dirty, no towels just pure nasty!!
The hotel was dirty and dilapidated outside and inside. It smelled like old cigaratte smoke. The keycard door latch did not work, so I was given an old fashioned key to use with the old doorknob. I found evidence of "bug dirt" on the sheets (cockroaches suspected). The carpet was nearly black with dirt; I dared not let my bare feet touch it. The armchair and furniture in the lobby in the room were soiled. There were holes in the walls. The mattress was very noticeably smaller than the box springs, which were covered in plastic. The mattress, too, as extremely uncomfortable and the pillows either flat or lumpy. The sink countertop was chipped. The bathroom door had large scratches as if an animal had been trapped in there. Even after taking a shower, I felt dirty in that place.
The hotel's web page indicated amenities that were not present: a refrigerator in the guest room and breakfast in the morning. The Wi-Fi connection did not work.
In addition, the walls were thin. I could hear every noise, from footsteps in the hallway to the TV next door.
This place was disgusting and certainly not worth the fee charged. The only reason it gets anything above a zero rating is because the front desk staff were friendly and helpful.
The Days Inn Wyndnam Cleveland Lakewood is a disgrace to the brand. The only thing that would improve it is demolition.
Location - near where was to visit
Very questionable EVERYTHING! No soap. Slimy gross old conditioner only dish. Tattered towels, lamps didn’t work properly (one was a strobe light). Broken mirror in closet?! Weird! No fridge, no breakfast. False advertising.
Nothing!
Everything. The bathtub looked like it would fall through the floor if I stepped into it! There was a broken lamp in the closet area. The carpet was gross. The room was hot. The chair looked like it was retrieved from the trash. I am very disappointed that Days Inn has their name on this disaster! Just wish I had taken more pictures!
It was close to Huntington Field
Online said the hotel had continental breakfast. That was a lie. The place looked old and there wasn't any light where parking was.
This property was dirty. Definitely nothing like the pictures you advertised on the website. Do not be fooled and stay here. The people were decent enough but some of the workers were rude on top of the horrid conditions. This place has not been maintained at all. The floor was sticky. And filthy. I want my money back. All of it.
the front desk lady was nice
the room bed smell floor it was horrific
The bed was comfortable and the ac worked. The front desk receptionist was very nice and available when I left in the morning.
The front desk receptionist when I checked in around 7 pm did not prioritize my check in when I was next in line. There was someone in front of me and when they left the receptionist did something on the computer and completely ignored me. I said hello and asked about checking in multiple times and got no response. After 10 minutes of waiting she stood up to check me in. I can be patient when employees have other things they need to address first but there was no communication until she stood up again which was very odd. There was a sign the whole night that said be back in 15 minutes even though I saw the receptionist there the whole time the sign was up.
The room itself was poorly maintained. There were no towels anywhere and I also saw a massive spider in the bathtub that night. The cabinet was broken and the closet area didn’t have a rod for hanging clothes or anything. I stayed at a days inn previously where i had at least a fridge and a desk area and towels and none of that was present. There was also no breakfast in the morning other than coffee with sugar. The cups available were very small and had no lids.
I feeel I was overcharged for what I got. I thought I was getting breakfast and at least the opportunity to wipe my hands and/or take a shower. I am a very low maintenance person and have enjoyed my stay at the days inn in other locations and this one was very underwhelming.
It was not a clean facility. Even in the lobby the staff was semi-pleasant when she was there. When we got there there was no staff on the facility and we waited for at least 45 minutes
I liked the photos on booking.com, unfortunately this was a dated photo the in person vibe was seedy hourly motel.
Parking lot not lit. Pretty sure we watched a drug deal happen. Overflowing trash. Inside the dim lights did little to conceal the lack of care for this property. Dirty, reeked of Marijuana, carpet was stained beyond compare. Doors were all scraped and pitted. We were told to put a paper on our dashboard and while walking back in a police office stopped us. Asked why were were there. We explained the hotel for the wedding party was book and this was available. Officer replied, leave now. Do NOT stay here. My husband asked if he could help get our money back and we were told for our safety to leave and call tomorrow about a refund. We did as we were told. Hotel said take up the refund with booking.com, booking.com sent us a email contact for the hotel.
We never saw our room. We walked back to the front desk handed in our key, which didnt work anyway and explained we were leaving and why.
This hotel is in a good location. That is all it has going for it. It is dirty and in very poor condition. Paint is scratched and worn. My room had holes in the walls broken light fixtures and the TV didn't work. The bed was also worn, sloped and resting on dirty mismatched box springs. I spent less than five minutes there before deciding I couldn't stay in the in this room. Reception refused to refund my money but provided an email address for the manager. My email has thus far gone unanswered.
Breakfast was lame. Could do much better.
Staff was not accommodating and rude
Lady at checkin was nice. Shame she has to work there
Everything. Mold, smell, stains on walls and beds.
