The location of this hotel is close to everything that we needed and the bed was very comfortable
Pros:

The room was very clean and all the amenities that we needed for the night. Also this was an ideal location and was very close to the venue where we were having our son's 21st

Cons:

The pulsating shower, the toilet flushing on it's own accord in the night and the water that came in the gaps in the window from the rain

Perfect buisness stop
Pros:

Staff friendly and helpful at receprion and bar/restaurant facilities .

Cons:

Heating was off in my room and it was late in the evning when I discusovered how to trurn the tap on . Staff very apologetic, would pass it on to the correct person.

Cleanliness of the room.
Our room was lovely and warm after returning each day from Wellington hospital.
The view was magnificent.
Being in the centre of the city, noise was non existent really quiet, no traffic noise

Nice to be so close to waterfront walking both in the evening and morning

A good place for a couple of nights in the city.
Pros:

needed a place to stay before going to the airport for an early morning flight.

Cons:

The dining room felt very unloved. The heating was blowing out cold air. We did not stay.

Don’t choose a studio suite - rip off

Love the location, parking easy we decided to treat ourselves to a Studio Suite - wouldn’t recommend

Cons:

The suite was on 2nd floor with NO VIEW at all, (Bay Plaza generally has best views in town) hairdryer broken, shower broken, no bedside lamps, heating not working, (cold stormy weekend) dimmers on lights not working and reception staff extremely unhelpful! Such a shame as we have been choosing to stay here for years but the upgrade we treated ourselves to was a total rip off.
