Im Notfall ausreichend und super Leute an der Rezeption

Unser Flug ist ausgefallen und das Gresham Hotel hatte die letzten leistbaren Zimmer in der Umgebung. Wir haben ein sehr einfaches Hostel erwartet und ein sehr einfaches Hostel bekommen. Die Leute an der Rezeption waren sehr nett und hilfsbereit.

Cons:

In der Juni-Hitze dieses Sommers war das Zimmer unterm Dach eine Sauna und das Stiegensteigen mit Gepäck eine Tortur (kein Lift).

The location

Cons:

Timing wasn't great. England were playing FIFA on the day so the noise was through the roof. It was one of the hottest day and the window was left open and heat in the room was unbearable. Couldn't reach the reception to check if there was a fan available. The heat and the noise kept me awake. On top of that the bed was broken and was very uncomfortable.

The worst experience in a one night hotel possible

The location is the only redeeming feature.

Cons:

We were given a basement room that was not decorated, had doors with broken locks and a room that was bug infested. It was noisy, there was no air con par a small fan that offered nothing, a bathroom that was disgusting. This is somewhere I would pay to avoid

Podstandardní skromné ubytování blízko centra
Pros:

Dobré umístění blízko centra, blízko do supermarketu, k metru cca 400 metrů, v noci docela klid (pokoj do dvora).

Cons:

Nepříjemná a neochotná obsluha, hotelové wifi s utajeným heslem (nejdříve chybně napsané heslo, pak po 1 dni zcela přestalo fungovat, což personál jen konstatoval bez vysvětlení), televize nepoužitelná (bez ovladače), postel vrzala, bez varné konvice a hrnečků, přístup do pokoje přes vstupní dveře, které musela na zvonek otevírat obsluha (vždy nutno hlásit jméno a číslo pokoje), za 5 dnů nikdo nevynesl ani odpadky). Slabé osvětlení v pokoji (jen stropní světlo a dvě nefungující lampy).

There isn’t much to like about the property apart from the fact it’s near Tottenham Court Road

Cons:

Clearly nothing has been changed since the 30s. Everything is dingy and dirty. The bathroom looked like it was falling apart, and I’ve never been so hot in a hotel room, in my life.

La buena predisposición del personal para cambiarnos de habitación y resolver problemas

Cons:

Las sábanas estaban limpias, pero la habitación no. La iluminación era pésima. Lo peor de todo fue la ducha, que no funcionaba. Destaco la buena predisposición del chico de la recepción del turno noche, quien nos cambió a otra habitación. Sin embargo, esta nueva habitación estaba en el subsuelo, era calurosa y húmeda, y la ducha estaba mal instalada (el agua salía hacia un costado en vez de caer desde arriba). Para colmo, casi ninguno de los enchufes andaba y en el baño no había ni uno solo.
