Weekend in Rome
Pros:

Staff were great and very helpful. Lovely, room close to most attractions.
We were on half board basis, no issues at breakfast and there is plenty of variety to choose from.
Check before you sit down for dinner though, we were charged for the evening meal even though it was included in our price. The reception staff were very helpful in sorting this out.

My main issue here is at checkout we were asked to pay an optional €25 each as a tip for the staff. We had already given tips out to most staff during our stay and there is a service charge on everything (no issue with that) but to then get asked for a further payment seems a little excessive in my opinion, hence I didn't pay it. It wouldn't stop me returning to this hotel, overall a great experience with a couple of minor tweaks needed.

We came here to celebrate our wedding anniversary, and the hotel provided a room upgrade and a personalized lettering.
Pros:

Friendly room and concierge services provided the ultimate vacation experience. The quiet, clean, and cozy atmosphere was fantastic. The breakfast was delicious and all the crew members were so kind that I would definitely choose to stay here again if I return to Rome.

The property fully lives up to its 5-star rating, featuring elegant decor, premium facilities and sophisticated common areas that deliver a luxurious stay experience.
However, housekeeping service leaves much to be desired.

Toiletries and bathroom amenities were not restocked promptly after being used, which is disappointing for a high-end five-star hotel. It would be great if the cleaning team could double-check supplies during daily turndown service.

Perfect location, beautiful staff
Pros:

A wonderful stay in Rome. The location is exceptional, within easy walking distance of all the major sights (under 40mins to the Vatican) The staff were outstanding, warm, professional, and always eager to help. Esp Pamela. Our room was beautiful, comfortable, and impeccably maintained. The food was also excellent, with a great selection and consistently high quality. The InterContinental truly feels like an oasis in the middle of a Roman summer. We would happily stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Rome.
