InterContinental Rome boasts an unbeatable location right in the heart of the city, within easy walking distance of major landmarks. The surrounding area is pleasant with a lovely atmosphere, making sightseeing incredibly convenient.
The property fully lives up to its 5-star rating, featuring elegant decor, premium facilities and sophisticated common areas that deliver a luxurious stay experience.
However, housekeeping service leaves much to be desired.
However, housekeeping service leaves much to be desired. The room cleaning lacks attention to detail. Toiletries and bathroom amenities were not restocked promptly after being used, which is disappointing for a high-end five-star hotel. It would be great if the cleaning team could double-check supplies during daily turndown service.
A wonderful stay in Rome. The location is exceptional, within easy walking distance of all the major sights (under 40mins to the Vatican) The staff were outstanding, warm, professional, and always eager to help. Esp Pamela. Our room was beautiful, comfortable, and impeccably maintained. The food was also excellent, with a great selection and consistently high quality. The InterContinental truly feels like an oasis in the middle of a Roman summer. We would happily stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Rome.
Excellent location and beautiful hotel! Breakfast and service were always good and delicious!
Pamela is fantastico

Comfortable
The Intercontinental Ambasciatori Palace Hotel in Rome raises the bar in terms of service and staffing to a level of excellence from the front desk to VICI Le Bistrot. Simone and Rebecca are two outstanding examples of staff at VICI Le Bistrot raising that level of service excellence during the 9 days we were guests at the hotel. People make the difference in a service industry and it was a pleasure watching them work their magic even during busy occasions in a consistently professional manner. They are two reasons among many why we would return and recommend this establishment.
Cleanness
Noisy street
Great location. Beautiful and clean rooms. Breakfast staff and front desk staff are warm and welcoming. While the rooftop bar is a lovely place, we found the service to be slow, so much so that we felt ignored.
Thank you all for you beautiful service that made for us our holidays very special! Beautiful place with beautiful staff: thanks to all the staff: Loucas, Nikita, Leonardo, Maria, Pamela, Gemma and of course all the house keeping team for keeping the room so clean!
Lovely hotel. Such friendly staff who were also helpful. The rooms were great- v comfortable and they sent foam pillows when we asked for them. Breakfsat was also very good and nothing was too much trouble. The hotel and rooms all looked new and clean. Neighbourhood was quiet ao as not to keep you awake but most things were within a 20min walk away. Air-conditioning worked well which was welcome.
Excellent accommodations and service all around! Love it here.
Fabulous hotel. Great staff. Would definitely stay again.

Breakfast is poor
A truly beautiful, immaculately clean property, conveniently located right on the Via Vittorio Veneto. The staff has been outstanding and the hotel restaurants are excellent, although there are several terrific options within walking distance. I would without hesitation stay here on my next trip to Rome and recommend it to anyone looking for a first class experience.
Stayed three nights as part of a Viking pre-cruise package. Typically small European accommodations but elegant nonetheless. Check in experience excellent. Restaurant experience much less so. First night rooftop restaurant was closed for a private event. Second morning breakfast service in the restaurant was absolutely horrible. We had to beg for coffee. No one cleared used dishes or utensils from the table. There was no way to complain about the service because they were totally understaffed, very sad!
Nice place and close to the centre
Beautiful hotel and impeccable service in the heart of Rome! Easy to get to city center, the Vatican, walkable to delicious bistros and restaurants.
