Having stayed in most of the 5 star main hotels in London, this is our favourite for location and quality. Quality of service, food, drinks and house keeping as well as reception staff and door persons.
You simply want for nothing and everyone is eager to assist you.
The club lounge is fabulous and worth the extra we think.
The proximity to the city attractions and eateries.
Their consideration to people coming from afar before the room is ready.
The swimming pool and the many restaurants. Their consideration lounge is so opulent.
Loved the architecture, the front of house staff and the doormen were extremely polite. Lovely and welcoming and the property is extremely well maintained
The room decor is tired and old and really needs renovating to keep up with other hotels in the area. The rooms were not sound proof, you can hear every sound in the corridor, the housekeeping staff were very loud banging and slamming doors and woke me up both nights from 5am despite me wearing ear plugs.
No quiero decir uno porque trsicionaria el resto
Nada
Fabulous stay at the stunning Langham, a memory my mum and I will treasure and find hard to beat for years to come.
Every part of our experience was flawless, from the warm welcome and thoughtful gestures to make our stay extra special; the immaculate and beautifully presented room, to every mouthful of delicious food.
I would highly recommend the Sunday roast in the Wigmore. Generous portions, very tasty and the atmosphere is buzzing and relaxed.
A special thanks to Sarah for looking after us so well, and Luis in the Club lounge who couldn’t have been more welcoming, making us smile as he recalled his trips to Edinburgh.
I can’t think of a nicer hotel than The Langham. The club Lounge was truly amazing with knowledgeable and friendly staff and fantastic food service throughout the day and evening.
A beautiful hotel with very friendly staff. My room and amenities were delightful. We had a wonderful lunch in Sale E Pepe.
Every time we pull up outside we are treated like Kings the Porters outside are absolutely wonderful they are at the side of the car before the wheels have even stopped going round😂
Then you walk in the doors and the beautiful aroma when you walk in is beautiful
Checking in is always seamless
Our room this time was superb 737
The pool and the changing rooms are always spotless and the ladies working in there on Sunday and Monday were wonderful lots of clean towels asking me if I need anything
Lots of fresh apples and water it's such a treat and so refreshing to have lovely people around you where ever you are in the hotel
We had breakfast this morning and the young waiter a young man with beautiful curly hair was fantastic
Then the gorgeous porter remembered us from before and we remembered him gave us the most wonderful goodbye what a beautiful man
So just wanted to say thank you to all of them
I booked two rooms for a night at the theatre in London for a ladies trip away. Having traveled in hot weather I was disappointed to find that one of our rooms was not ready when we tried to check in 4pm despite the hotel stating check in is from 3pm.
We had to rush to get ready as we had an early dinner reservation which was really stressful with the 3 of us and only one bathroom!
It was a disappointing start and thankfully the rest of the stay was lovely but you don't expect not to have access to a room you have paid for, for almost 2 hours!
The staff were delightful and very helpful, our room was very quiet, the bed amazingly comfortable and we slept exceptionally well. Beautiful floral displays around the hotel. The location is perfect with so many shops, department stores, cafes and restaurants nearby.
The tv in room 620 kept turning itself off, the sound crackled and the screen pixelated. We were in London during Wimbledon and the World Cup so it was frustrating not to have a working tv. The maintenance crew tried on 2 occasions to fix the problem but admitted that there were ongoing problems and all tv’s would be replaced in coming weeks.
We were initially charged the price of a full continental breakfast even though we had ordered toast and coffee. We had that issue rectified promptly. Dinner at Sale e Pepe Mare was very disappointing. The main courses took a long time to arrive and both were overcooked and dried out. We would not recommend this restaurant. For the peak season price we expected much better.
The standards and the hotel location
The room was long way from the reception
Room quality, friendliness of staff, nothing too much trouble and over excelled. quality there to be seen. Ian in particular on concierge is a superstar. It was all the little touches that mattered
honestly there was nothing we didn’t like, was genuinely faultless.
The staff and amenities were incredible. Great part of London.
The gym was hard to locate.
Staff are friendly in general but lack some professionalism. Location is good.
Our request for room change was ignored for a very long time. The metal rack in the bath tub has very sharp edge which cut my partner's hand accidentally.
Staff were exceptional! Authentically warm and welcoming!
I loved everything 😊
The Langham is in an excellent location, a short walk from Oxford Circus tube station. The building has an older, more elegant style than many, more modern hotels, but this means that the elevators/lifts are quirky and guests may prefer to use the wide and comfortable stairs instead.
We stayed in a Club room with access to the Club Lounge. The room was fine and the lounge was a 'little hotel within a hotel' that we enjoyed for breakfast, afternoon tea, and evening drinks and nibbles. The staff were all super-friendly and helpful. One special feature of the lounge was the 'free-flow' champagne, "More champagne, sir?" This was an extravagance for us and the evening food offerings did not seem to be at the same level. Salad, dips, pate and cheese are okay but we have had better and more varied food offerings at club lounges in other hotels. In fact, we remember having better food in the Langham Club lounge in Hong Kong.
The gym and pool at the Langham are hidden down several twisty corridors in the basement. It is possible to hear the underground trains rumbling along as you swim in the pool. However, the gym and the pool are both excellent and the staff very helpful.
Overall, we highly recommend the Langham hotel.
