Liked the coffee
Everything was carbs with added sugar, low quality options
There wasn't a lot we like. Pool is great the surrounding are nice the actual rooms are not great.
The rooms need updating in a big way bathrooms are very outdated. The bath has chips all over it. Cob webs around the mirrors. Toilet pan was not clean due to the age of it. Staff were ok but not very welcoming.

Great location to aquarium and Carmel and Big Sur
Not much to dislike. Breakfast felt a little cheap and they don’t start breakfast until 7am. Many people like ourselves like to get an early start. 6am or 630am would have been better.
The room comfort was good
The breakfast didnt have more option and was not upto mark and could be improved.
Was expecting atleast eggs in the breakfast but was not satisfied with the breakfast.
Breakfast was simple, the room we got was great with the hot tub and mini fireplace was lovely. Bathroom was clean.
The room was great. The space, the amenities, the bathroom was awesome. Overall, the room itself was great.
I think the room was overpriced. The continental breakfast wasn't much. The TV was outdated. I thought that the property was bigger from the looks of the pictures. The guests above me were noisy till late into midnight. I could hear them stomping around their room all night. Some other guests were outside my door arguing.
heated pool
We booked a room with a king-size bed, but the bed was a queen. Also, the photos showed a small sofa, but the actual room differed from the pictures and there was no sofa. We were traveling with a child, and sleeping in the smaller bed was very inconvenient. The staff refused to switch us to a room with a larger bed or even one with a sofa. The breakfasts here aren't very good.
Location is great rigth off highway 1. 5 minute walk to del monte shopping mall. 7 minute drive to downtown Montery. Free parking. We loved the pool great for kids 4⅐ ft and heated. Room/ bed was comfortable and clean. Mix feeling with the skyligth right above bed. Ligth can make a little hard to sleep late.
There are some areas that could use some cleaning specially the stairs area looks like spilled drinks. For continental breakfast they can do a little better. But overall is a nice place and would definetly stay there again
