Centrally located in Norwich, close to the cathedral. Friendly and helpful staff who upgraded us to a suite. Room was lovely, well equipped and very clean. Excellent English breakfast with friendly and attentive restaurant staff.
Helpful staff. Location of the hotel is excellent. Room was clean and a nice size. Great choice for breakfast although a bit pricey.
Location of my room. Not easy to get to up some narrow winding stairs.
Very smart room. Bed was comfortable. Nice bedlinen. The room was clean and not overly small. The location of the hotel was very good and it was decorated to a nice standard. The staff were very nice and also very helpful. The complimentary Bentley drive was such a lovely touch and Jim the driver was very good.
Pillows not very good even trying another option. I requested a quiet room but could still hear the traffic and other guests above me. (The first night I only got about three hours sleep.) The step in the bathroom wasn't ideal. The product dispensers had seen better days and it was impossible to fill the bath because the plug wasn't working. I didn't get a bottle of water in the room on the second day. The teabag offer was very poor.

A very nice hotel in a great spot. The room was lovely - spacious, quiet and very comfortable. The staff were very welcoming and friendly - we appreciated the help they gave us with our luggage (it's a very old hotel and there is no lift). The buffet breakfast was plentiful and very tasty.
For such a good hotel with decent wifi we were a little disappointed not to have a smart tv. To be restricted to Freeview channels only was a little frustrating. Also, the ventilation in the bathroom was less than ideal - no extraction meant the bathroom was completely steamed up for a while after showering.
James in the small bar was excellent and showed great customer service . He was a credit to the hotel. All other staff were very good and were very attentive . Every member of staff we met were clearly working hard and had the Hotel residents in mind when delivering a great service .
Super friendly and helpful staff, cannot beat the location
Our room was excellent and vwry spacious. Lovely big comfy bed and large clean bathroom. Good location just a little road noise but to be expected in the city. Food ecellent.
