A very historic hotel near the cathedral - a sight in itself, given the history of the property. Comfortable rooms, we were on the first floor with a window to the car park - not a view, but we were here for the city anyways. Breakfast buffet has quite a lot of options, and best of all, they have made to order dishes like Eggs Benedict.
Well, we do have to mention two things, that were pretty annoying: the towel heater in the bathroom is obviously tied to warm water, and cannot be turned off according to reception which we called about that issue - the bathroom is pretty hot and after a shower you feel like in the Amazon jungle.
Second, the bathroom door has a pretty forceful door closer and it is impossible to keep the door open. Why on Earth does a hotel install such a thing? To roast you slowly in the bathroom? We had to invent something to tie the door to the heater to breathe in there... In future we will have a wedge in our luggage for such cases...
Luxury hotel and attentive staff, right in the heart of Norwich

The location was perfect, staff friendly and helpful, bed comfortable. Parking till 3pm after departure was really useful.
I don't think I've ever stayed in a hotel with the right lighting and mirror in just the right place to do your make-up. It was also a bit quiet.

upgraded for our anniversary again another lovely surprise and very much appreciated
the noise of the air conditioning units
then once we switched them off the noise from the pub over the road and the traffic was constant .

The location is just fabulous, in the heart of the major sights . The room was spacious and clean. The staff is friendly and helpful. Definitely a place to stay again

Meals were expensive and not flexible in tgat we had to have two courses to have the meal we wanted.
