Average and fell short of our expectation when compared to the other place we stayed in Kyoto

The Lawson on the ground floor been useful and we also found one of the restaurant to be good for the dinner we had

Very generous sized room with a large, comfortable bed. Fantastic location
Pros:

Really big room with a large, comfortable bed. Had plenty of space to spread out
Good facilities in the hotel and nearby. Always a taxi available at the door
Fantastic location with lots to see and do nearby
Really convenient for public transport
Staff were really helpful and friendly

Cons:

The bathroom was a little tired (still very clean). Shower over the bath not the easiest for older visitors

Pros:
