Not worth the money to stay in this run down hotel.
Pros:

The location is great. There is a nice pond across the street.

Cons:

The property is horribly run down. There were ants and spiders in our “upgraded” room. The pool chairs were falling apart. There was no space in the breakfast area to sit and eat. For the price, I would not recommend this property.

Cons:

The aircon wasn’t working in our room so we changed rooms 3 times. And still had to sleep a night in the unbelievable heat. We were told that we are free to check out if we wanted to at 9pm. Being a visitor to the USA that was not possible at that late hour. The next morning they changed our room. However on the last day of our stay the pool was discoloured and couldn’t be used. We returned for our second stay the next week and guess what there was no breakfast available. Not a word about making up to us either. Later we also requested for a late checkout tomorrow and without hesitation were told it’s chargeable. $75 to check out at 5pm. As our flight is at 10. Pretty unfair when we tolerated all the shortcomings of our stay both times. Pretty unhappy with the hotel overall.

During this stay the lady at the reception was very friendly. However the next stay the gentleman at the reception was not very friendly.

The staff was very friendly. The Jacuzzi was really really good. I was surprised that the restaurant was closed, especially on the weekend.

The AC was down in the room that I was initially given. That room was on the 3rd floor and furthest away from the elevator. After waking up sweating at 4am, the the receptionist on duty gave me a second room to try. That room was on the fourth floor. Opening the door of that room was like walking into a snoop dog/ Wiz Khalifa tour bus. The weed smoke saturated everything in the room. The last room had no issues.

Great location for sightseeing in the area and hot air ballooning
Pros:

Clean. Great location with friendly staff.
Two free drinks at happy hour. The pool was clean with lots of organized, rolled up towels. Free parking.

Hotel Hell
Pros:

Absolutely horrible property. Was looking forward to staying here because I’ve never had a bad experience at any Embassy Suites property. This property feels like a hotel built under a different name that was then purchased by Embassy Suites. There were stains all over the carpet in the living room and visible dust/mold residue on the vent in the shower. Worst yet, the air conditioner did not work in our room and was 84 degrees the entire night. Told the front desk in the morning and was told the cooling tower went down but was now operational. No apology from the manager, no offer to switch rooms, no compensation, nothing. Believe the reviews and avoid one of the biggest dumps in Temecula.

Horrible
Pros:

I was extremely disappointed with my stay at this property and unfortunately would not consider returning.

When I first arrived, the room I was given had a balcony facing an AC rooftop and a wall, with absolutely no scenery as shown or implied in the property’s photos. When I tried to return to my room, I also discovered that the door handle was malfunctioning. The issue was serious enough that the hotel ultimately moved me to another room.

Unfortunately, the second room came with its own set of problems. The Wi-Fi repeatedly cut in and out, making it nearly impossible for me to get any work done. Then, on the second day, the air conditioning completely stopped working during the hottest part of the day. The room became so uncomfortable that my friends and I had to leave the property.

The complimentary breakfast was another major concern. While eating, we could visibly see dust falling from the ceiling, which raised serious concerns about cleanliness and the possibility of it getting into the food.

The pool area was also very disappointing. The area appeared poorly maintained, and several of the chairs were visibly deteriorating and rotting.

The hotel did offer me a discount as compensation, which I appreciated, but it unfortunately does not appear to have been processed yet.

Overall, this was a very disappointing experience. I also feel that the photos displayed on Booking.com presented the property in a much better condition than what I experienced in person. Based on my experience, I would not recommend this location and do not plan on returning.

This is a very old hotel. Not like any other embassy suites that I’ve ever been at. Day and morning and breakfast. Staff

Pool was clean, towels available. Spa old.

Cons:

Evening bar and food staff seemed stressed and unhappy they were not friendly. Restaurant was out of so many items. Bar was out of so many items.
