Amazing hotel.
Pros:

We had a wonderful stay at Hotel Firenze.

The location is absolutely perfect—right in the heart of the city, within walking distance of all the major attractions, yet still peaceful enough to relax after a day of exploring.

One of our favorite touches was the complimentary welcome drink offered and also the little sweet treats everyday. It’s a small gesture that made us feel genuinely welcomed and added something special to our stay.

The room was spotless, comfortable, and spacious enough for two people, with all the amenities we needed. Everything was well maintained, and the housekeeping was excellent. We also loved spending time on the terrace—it was a lovely place to unwind.

The staff were friendly, professional, and always happy to help, making the overall experience even better.

Overall, everything was fantastic. Excellent location, clean and comfortable rooms, thoughtful hospitality, and great service. We would definitely recommend Hotel Firenze to anyone visiting Venice.

Cons:

The only small thing we didn’t quite understand was the breakfast service. Although breakfast is buffet-style, guests still have to wait to be served by the staff. We found this a little unnecessary and slightly inconvenient, as it slowed things down compared to a traditional self-service buffet.

Also, walls are very thin - which is a common issue in Italian buildings. We could hear sounds in the morning or late evening from people walking, talking or doing whatever. This is something to consider.

The staff was welcoming and the location was great.

Cons:

The room size was extremely small the photos on the website did not reflect the size the room. The breakfast area was small and the choice was slim you were not able to serve yourself due to the small confined space.

A nice stay in Venice
Pros:

The hotel is located perfectly for seeing the sights and catching the water taxi. It is clean and quiet for some much needed rest. The staff was kind to help us navigate boats and trains. Thank you!

Hôtel idéal pour découvrir Venise
Pros:

Hôtel parfait! L’emplacement est idéal, hyper central et en même temps les chambres ne sont pas du tout bruyantes. Elles sont confortables, la nôtre avait une salle de bain neuve et superbe. Le petit déjeuner est délicieux. Et surtout le personnel est charmant : leurs conseils sont excellents, que ce soit en amont de notre venue ou pendant le séjour. Merci beaucoup!

A great first time stay in Venice!
Pros:

The location was convenient to several major attractions. Latta-I hope thats her name at the front desk-was lovely!! She met us when we got off the water taxi and went over everything to do in the city. She was friendly all week long and helped us schedule the water taxi to get to the airport. She was so nice. We loved the little sweets in our room every day. A nice touch! The breakfast was delicious!! The rooftop was beautiful too!

Cons:

The mattress was dated. Had some shower water issues but it did get resolved. Breakfast servers were interesting-a little Italian grumpiness, but the food was delicious. It was a true hidden Italian gem.

Pros:

Seriously one of the best hotels I’ve stayed at!! The location is perfect, but the best thing is how Venetian it feels! Staff are lovely, gave me recommendations outside the typical touristy stuff, and the breakfast set up is so cute (bread & cheese to die for)! Drinks on the terrace was the cherry on top!

[rooms are clean and beautiful, only downside is potentially the size. not an issue for me but if you’d like a big room, you won’t get that here. It’s very functional though, and has all the necessary amenities, complementary drink & chocolates etc]!

Everything according to expectations. Definitely great value for money.
Pros:

Our room was as expected. We wanted feel of the old Venice. It was just that, but with updated bathroom and very clean. Breakfast had enough choices that left us satisfied every morning. Staff is very knowledgeable and helpful, with good knowledge of English. Would definitely recommend!

Pros:

La atención del personal excelente sobre todos Massimo (Recepción) y Michael (Botones). Las instalaciones en general muy bien. El comedor muy pequeño e incómodo.

No hubo agua caliente por la mañana. Nos bañamos con agua fría.
