Beautiful building
unfortunately my experience was disappointing due to several issues during my stay and the way my complaint was handled afterwards.
Despite the hotel acknowledging that there was wedding noise way past midnight on a Tuesday night, excessive room temperature, and problems with the television, the only resolution offered was a complimentary breakfast. While this was appreciated at the time, it did not reflect the level of disruption I experienced during a stay that cost over £112
The noise from a wedding taking place at the hotel was significant and affected my ability to rest. Combined with the uncomfortable room temperature and issues with the faulty TV, the overall experience fell well below what I would expect for the price paid.
I was also disappointed by the inconsistency in the complaint handling. At one point I was offered a 20% discount on a future stay, but this was later withdrawn and replaced with the breakfast offer, with no further compensation provided. I did not feel that my concerns were taken seriously or resolved fairly.
Overall, while the staff response was polite, the handling of both the stay issues and the complaint left me dissatisfied. I would not expect to have to spend more money at the hotel in order to receive meaningful redress for a stay that was clearly impacted by multiple problems.

Very peaceful and quiet and Terrace was lovely. Staff were very helpful in returning an item we had left at the hotel.
Cooked Breakfast was poor everything looked like it had been out to long. Prices at the bar were way to expensive £6.50 for a can of lemonade and 1/2 shandy equating to £20 a pint.

Dirty unclean bathroom shower with stains and pubic hair and unconfirmed brown stains mould everywhere
We liked the architecture, the grounds were beautiful front of house and all staff we encountered were friendly and helpful
There was nothing that we didn’t like
I stayed here three night two of the nights I didn’t get to sleep until 4am due to a wedding the noise was unbearable. I was going to be a regular at this hotel however I need to reconsider.
