Pros:

Location, breakfast spread, spacious room size. Good sauna.

Wouldn’t stay again.

Cons:

Air conditioning was broken the whole of our stay and it was over 30 C. First night we couldn’t even get a fan.
No offer of discount or perk to make up for our very uncomfortable stay.

Lage mitten in der Stadt

Cons:

Von Anfang an ist die Klimaanlage ausgefallen. Bei über 34 Grad draußen war es unzumutbar heiß im Zimmer mit komplett verglasten Wand gewesen. Wir waren 5 Tage im Hotel mit zwei Kindern und haben uns das Aufenthalt etwas „komfortabler“ vorgestellt. Das Hotel hat zwar gewusst, dass die Klimaanlage ausgefallen ist, hat kein Mitarbeiter uns ins Kenntnis gesetzt oder eine Alternative angeboten. Die Klimaanlage hat schon vor unserer Einreise kaum funktioniert, wie uns die Mitarbeiter im Hotel auf unsere Anfrage verraten haben. Uns wurde weder der Preisnachlass noch ein anderes Entgegenkommen angeboten. Wir waren froh, dass unser Aufenthalt in diesem Hotel zu Ende war. Daher wird das Hotel von uns nie wieder ausgewählt.

Leuke locatie in Berlijn!
Pros:

De locatie was fantastisch! De kamer en badkamer waren ruim genoeg. Het personeel was heel vriendelijk.

Cons:

De airconditioning werkte niet en het was niet zo proper.

Good quiet hotel in the heart of Berlin
Pros:

Location was very very good, many places to eat around. Alexanderplats is walking distance away.
Room was quiet, I could not hear people in other rooms around, only when they walked past. For me this is one of the most important things about hotels.
Staff was very friendly.
Big cups in the room to make tea, usually you find these micro cups which are only suitable for espresso.

Cons:

Before I list all the things that could be better, it's very minor things, for someone this will be completely irrelevant.
I still recommend this hotel.

It is quite noisy outside, there is a bus stop opposite of hotel and there is always a lot of activity + the road. So if you want to sleep with open windows - this will be problematic.
Breakfast is quite limited, and ok-ish, I would not call this 'exceptional' like it was advertised.
Water in the room was only placed at the checkin, when room got cleaned we did not get new water bottles.
Bed was squeaky and shower door made weird noises when opening and closing. No toiletries, such as cotton pads.
Pillows were extremely uncomfortable. I travel with my memory foam pillow and I had great sleep.
The iron they have is useless, it only works with one power socket which was in the bathroom, the ironing table is impossible to use while standing up, it's just not unfolding or holding up.
Take your own steamer to de-wrinkle clothes.
Also socket under the left side of the bed was near floor (?) and I could not plug anything inside it (I did align it correctly).
The AC is very loud, had to turn it off during the night.
