Categories

Cleanliness
9
Multiple reviews mention daily cleaning, 'clean and shiny' rooms and good overall cleanliness — generally very positive.
Service
9.5
Staff repeatedly praised (explicit mention of an attentive receptionist, friendly personnel); a few isolated service issues (check-in / room-service complaint) but overall strong and personalized service.
Location
10
Consistently described as excellent/ideal for visiting NYC/Midtown with easy access to transport; this is the most frequently highlighted strength.
Room Quality
6.5
Multiple complaints about very small rooms, small or lumpy beds, uncomfortable junior-suite size, noise in some rooms, and inconsistent temperature control (cold A/C, loud heating) — clear area for improvement.
Amenities
8.5
Standard quality for this hotel tier (no consistent mentions of gym/spa/etc. in the reviews; lobby and design noted positively).
Value for Money
6
Several guests call prices unjustifiably high, note unexpected extra charges (breakfast price not communicated) and overall poor value relative to room size — negative sentiment on value.
Food and Beverage
9
Breakfast and restaurant receive frequent praise (good buffet, varied options, very good restaurant food), though one note about breakfast price communication — generally very positive.
Overall Experience
9.5
Majority of reviews report an enjoyable/stays worth repeating with excellent location, friendly staff and good cleanliness; negatives (small rooms, value issues) lower some satisfaction but overall experience remains strong.

Enjoyable stay, comfortable room, professional welcoming staff.
Pros:

The location was perfect for my needs. The air conditioning worked very well and it was a comfortable room.

Cons:

Water pressure could have been better. Breakfast buffet was fine but not anything better than you'd have at any highway motel.
