Location amazing
Was in a room near the kitchen, I think, so humming all night from machinery which is never ideal
Great views from the hotel, comfortable hotel, super staff and£ very nice food.
Hearing that the kitchen staff were having to work without air conditioning in the kitchen….during the heatwave.
The location makes this hotel very special. It has absolutely amazing uninterrupted views of Lake Vyrnwy. Dinner was delicious and breakfast excellent. The bed and pillows were extremely comfortable.
There was no lift and I have some mobility issues, but it is a beautiful old Victorian property.
I liked the location, the view from the room, the friendliness of the staff and the little touches.
The bed was too small, mattress and pillows too small.
Amazing views, the lake view room was beautiful
The seating could be more comfortable
Absolutely everything! A really special place.
Dinner was excellent, service very good. Breakfast great choice of food. Highly recommended
Nothing to dislike service and property and food excellent as was the spa treatment. The only downside was the spa facilities were closed due to works, but no problem as for us.
Exquisite view. Large bedroom with amazing view. Perfect location.
Dinner! As a vegetarian couple we didn’t have a great time at in the restaurant. The food was very limited and quite tasteless. They need to consider plant eaters and their dietary requirements - they like to eat tasty food as well as the meat eaters! The breakfast was very nice and generous.
Superb location. Our upgraded room had the exact view in the header pic for this hotel!
There was a bit of a fly issue. Being close to the lake must make it tricky to manage.
Staff,,,Food,,,location,,,
Stay was to short
Welcomed staff ,great location
Food wasn't good
The location, views are superb, breakfast was excellent as was the dinner.
Most of the staff were friendly especially Jess.
The bedrooms need a little updating-carpets, bathroom etc.
The views
Amazing location, staff very friendly, food delicious
Rooms are comfortable but no air conditioning, windows open only a small amount so little fresh air. Spa very basic
The hotel is beautiful and in an amazing location with stunning views The grounds were also superb. I will definitely return
It's a dog friendly place. However I was unable to have a meal as dogs are not welcome in the restaurant but no food served in the tavern bar where they are welcome...such a shame. However I did have a lovely supper brought to my room
Everything, it was all brilliant 👏
