The space around the hotel, good location for staying with a dog, the steam room access (although a little misleading calling a steam room and jacuzzi for 1-2 people a spa), the view from the ‚spa’ and the fact they only book a few people in at the time so it is quite private and relaxing, the breakfast and dinner was lovely, friendly staff!
Had room service twice and my drink was forgotten twice, the phone in the room states to call 109 for reception which did not work.

The dog charges (this is general comment for all UK hotels), single person is charged for double room, there is no discount, but there is additional charge for the dog per night.
This hotel is stunning in every way, character and charm with stunning terrace views over the lake. Staff couldn’t have been more helpful and polite.

Avoid lake view rooms - they are small, some of them have tiny windows that can barely be opened making the room unbearably hot in the summer. The "double" beds are so small, 2 people can sleep on it only if they want to have a lot of fun :) or coordinate their movement throughout the night.
We had dinner here and food was excellent, just the service very slow but a lot of people for the eclipse . Breakfast had a great spread. Venus had beautiful views
