This hotel was fun and extremely clean. All the employees we came in contact with were very helpful and friendly. Highly recommend this hotel to others. Very fun atmosphere with the pineapple theme.
The staff were amazing, really helpful and went above and beyond. Very appreciative for that. The room was nice and a good size, the bed was very comfortable and the bathroom was great. The location was convenient for most things.
I did miss having a refrigerator and would have preferred a carpet to the hard floor.

The location is excellent — right in Downtown Seattle, fully walkable and just a short distance from Pike Place Market. It made exploring the city incredibly easy and convenient. The hotel itself was comfortable, welcoming, and well‑situated for anyone wanting to be close to the main attractions.
Overall, a very pleasant stay and a great base for discovering Seattle.
The price was on the higher side, but I suspect this is largely due to staying in August, which is peak season in Seattle.
Loved the play on the Pineapple, which is the symbol of hospitality. Honestly the facade is really not attractive, once inside another store. Super cozy, the staff is super responsive. The beds are so comfortable, it’s the European way of sleeping, each person has their own duvet. No skimpy towels here.Ask the staff questions, I learned that the old fashion taxi is 1/2 the price of a shared car experience. This isn’t a LUX hotel and doesn’t try to be. It’s SUPER cozy! I was probably one of the longer guests, not my on way to an Alaskan cruise! And if you’re on your way to cruise, location is great for Seattle sight seeing!
The staff were nice and the welcome cookie was delicious.
Overall this hotel was disappointing. It was $325 a night, but was really not worth it, first impression was not great, the lobby was dark and looked dirty and uncared for. The room had a bad musty smell, with a view over a rooftop car park, the black and red decor was tacky, we had booked for 3 nights and didn't stay, there were plenty of other hotels in the city with a similar price point that were cleaner and much nicer.
Location is good.
When I asked a receptionist to send a clean-lady to clean up the broken glass, the clean-lady brought a new glass, but didn't bother to clean the floor to remove the broken glass. The room wasn't cleaned even once for two days. But they silently deducted $50 from my deposit.
A személyzet nagyon kedves!
Location.
Rooms relatively small and very limited amenities.
Super fun vibe and knowledgeable front desk staff!
The hotel was very clean and tidy. The staff were very friendly. The room was very nice
The streets around the hotel were rough with lots of homeless people and drug takers hanging around. I didn't go out at night.
Not much.
Like a old office building that got badly converted with cheap fittings. Bathrooms old. Like being in a student dorm but paying $500+ per night! Avoid this hotel!!!
We went to Staypineapple Hotel 5, Downtown Seattle the day before we left on a cruise. Looking for the best value - as many of the "name brand" hotels were overpriced - I stumbled on Staypinepple through AMEX travel. Reviews were very good as were the photos. We were not disappointed. From the front desk check-in experience to our check-out the next day - everything was exactly like we expected - a "funky" sorta hotel with a wonderful vibe. Hotel room was clean and adequate. We were given two free "drinks" and we chose coffee in the morning rather than beer at night. The pineapple theme throughout was delightful including the water bottle and the pineapple cookies in the afternoon (yum yum). If you want a reasonably priced, clean and fun hotel in downtown Seattle this is definitely the place for you!
We would describe this as a modern "funky" hotel. Great location. Excellent parking. Welcoming staff and amenities. Our major dislike was the bedding arrangement with split comforter-type bed covers. We removed the inner heavy duvet and just used the outer covers. With the air conditioning off, that gave us sufficient protection, but they are hard to keep in the bed.
