Overall, it has been a wonderful experience. The hotel is beautifully designed and exceptionally clean, the food is excellent, and until now, it has always been a pleasure to return year after year.

However, this year I feel I must mention a very unpleasant experience that left us deeply disappointed.

Both of our children woke up one morning with a fever and were generally feeling unwell. We went down to breakfast and simply asked if we could take a small plate of food upstairs to the room for them. Breakfast, of course, was already included in the price of our stay.

The waitress informed us that taking food out of the breakfast area was against hotel policy. We therefore asked to speak with the manager.

Unfortunately, her response was what upset us most. Rather than showing understanding or empathy, she was dismissive of what we told her and even laughed in our faces, implying that she did not believe us and questioning the likelihood of both children waking up sick at the same time.

I was genuinely and deeply offended by the suggestion that we would lie about our children being ill simply in order to take a small amount of breakfast food to their room.

It was an incredibly disappointing way to be treated, particularly as returning guests who had previously enjoyed the hotel so much.

Sadly, after this experience, we will not be returning next year. I find this kind of behaviour unacceptable, completely lacking in hospitality and professionalism, and frankly, embarrassing for a hotel of this standard.

Pros:

Went to Cyprus for my niece's wedding. The hotel was great. The buffet with so many choices was excellent. The room are big and very clean. Love the pools and beaches.

I stayed at this hotel for a week. Great service. A five-star beach! Incredible water! Generous meals that were different every day. An impeccable staff. I highly recommend this hotel.
