Fair price, clean and safe, but very basic with a noisy AC
Pros:

This is a completely classic American hotel that completely justifies its price. What we asked for is exactly what we got—a clean, simple, and decent room. The surrounding area is very safe, quiet, and pleasant. It is a solid, straightforward property that delivers exactly what it promises

Cons:

Like most hotels in the US, the windows cannot be opened for fresh air. The air conditioning was on the noisier side, though it wasn't catastrophically loud. The breakfast was also extremely average and basic. There are no extra services or amenities, but it is perfectly fine for a simple stay

Excellent stay at a wonderful hotel! Plan to return whenever we are in DC.
Pros:

The hotel was very conveniently close to our son’s house. It was easily accessible and parking was very convenient. The front desk staff was very pleasant and accommodating. We were a late arrival the first night, but we were warmly welcomed. Now we have a new “home base” when visiting our family!

Cons:

Everything was lovely. Having worked in the hospitality industry I’m notoriously picky about where I stay. This property was excellent.

Decent, met overall expectations
Pros:

The breakfast had a lot of variety, room was clean, and staff was helpful.

Cons:

There were some issues with the Wifi. We also had poor cell service, which was overall not a big deal but might be for others who go to stay there.

Pros:

It was an okay stay, but it was extremely difficult to get an invoice from them. I requested it multiple times through the Booking app, and they first ignored my messages, but kept sending me reminders to give them ratings and finally they replied, “We will send it to you soon,” but I still never received it.

I had to call them from overseas, and they just shifted the responsibility to Booking. On the phone, I told them, “I can give you my email address, could you please send me the invoice directly?”

I don’t understand why such a simple thing required so much back and forth. I’ve never experienced this kind of situation before.
