Beautiful, fantastic room (cabana), pool area was fantastic, bar great, service was brilliant..
It’s petty, but the flooring by reception, a nightmare with a suitcase on the wheels!!
Everything especially the pool café for breakfast
The bathroom floor didn’t look clean

We have been to many pools at great hotels but were never subjected to the sexually explicit behavior of some guests!
It was disgusting.
A sign should be posted that explicit sexual behavior will not be tolerated and people who do so will be asked to leave the pool area.
First a woman in a very loud group was dry humping the pool. While a family tried to shield their children from that visual while trying to enjoy the pool - me too!
The following day 2women and a man were humping each other constantly as they lay on a sun bed while the rest of us tried to ignore them.
Again a sign stating: THE POOL IS A COMMUNAL AREA APPROPRIATE BEHAVIOR IS EXPECTED.
Also - some crazy woman - not a guest- tried to glom onto me in the pool. I had to swim away from her until security finally got her out of there.
Our enjoyment of the hotel was greatly diminished!
Also, our room had NO DRAWS TO PUT AWAY OUR CLOTHES????
The pool area was beautiful and very enjoyable.
Our room was still not ready even at 15:30. We had to keep waiting on the line at reception each time just to ask for an update. In addition, we asked about parking and found the $75 parking fee per day extremely expensive.
Close to my venue. Quiet and beautiful. Staff were excellent.
Bathroom was not draining correctly son I reported it.
Location
Walls are "very thin". Could hear everything in the hall and adjoining rooms.
Size of room
All good
The reservation did not show up in the system in spite of paying a premium price.
Waited for almost an hour to get the room allocated
Customer Service for Booking was terrible , no empathy towards the situation or urgency to resolve.
Sink is clogged the first time it was used.
Unfriendly experience with the steward at the restaurent
overall its one of my worst experience in recent times in terms of everything except for the location.
The Roosevelt offered a wonderful experience for me and my family. The security guard, Richard Longsworth, was very helpful and accommodating. He was such a gentle man to my grandmother as he help her walked down the stairs in the spare room; making sure she was okay. I would definitely recommend and I look forward to coming back !
Beautiful, historic hotel on the Hollywood walk of fame, across from the iconic Chinese Theater. Tons of restaurants, retail, activities nearby. Front desk, dining, housekeeping staff all nice/welcoming (the bellmen are fabulously helpful), but management don't have their act together; 30 minutes to check (never experienced in any other hotel, in any country, ever), with some not getting into rooms until 1-2 hours after check-in time of 3 pm; not acceptable, and neither are the hidden fees, which raise the already superspendy room rate by almost $100/day.
Rooms are decent size, clean, with very comfortable beds/bedding, ironing board, safe, mini fridge, expensive drinks/snacks. No coffee/tea things, but electric kettle brought on request. Nice bathroom with shower stall & shampoo/conditioner/gel wall dispensers, also lotion, robes. Free wifi worked well. Good climate control/blackout shades. Window opens.
We had a small wedding and did a Hollywood-glamour staycation. It was spectacular. We enjoyed 3 bars (lol), the glorious Tropicana Club, and Hockney Pool. An absolute don't miss Hollywood icon.
Місце розташування. Історія готелю
Байдуже ставлення деякого персоналу (не всіх). Погана система мінібару: дуже багато предметів в номері - платні, проте невідома їх ціна.
Where do I start - we'd booked two suites weeks ago, or a month ago. Checked in at midnight after our flight and had booked two suites, one with a king, and one with two double beds for our adult children. Guess what, they said they didn't have the reservation for the two double beds despite the PAID IN ADVANCE IN FULL reservation but helpfully offered a "free! rollaway!!!" Yippee. Who doesn't love a roll away when booked a suite with two double real beds. They had a lobby full of enraged guest who had been lied to and "upgraded" to cabana suites while a wedding raged in their pool area and no one could sleep. One of our children found a different place to stay opting out of said roll away. I'd email and texted before to advise our late arrival and to confirm the two double bed suite since they hadn't sent check-in info for it. Their manager was pathetic and let her staff deal with the angry people in the lobby and only came out looking disheveled and sloppy to talk to one man and did NOTHING for anyone. They offered ZERO to compensate nor a refund of the prepaid rate so we could leave for a better hotel. It was joke. The suites are large but worn, top floor so nice view, two bathrooms, but uncomfortable cheap mattresses and beat up carpets with holes and frayed edges and gouges in the wall. It could be such a great hotel but isn't. Tonight tried to go to the bar, The Spare Room, on a Friday after Hollywood Bowl show (the only reason we stayed here) and it was busy and only two slow moving inattentive bartenders working. After people shoving and cutting in line and zero eye contact with said bartenders, left. A large, loud, weird party took over the lobby so no go on that one. If you are desperate to stay near the Hollywood Bowl, then try it. But don't expect reservations to be honored, customer service to be present, a comfortable mattress or anything else. Bathrooms are cramped and the main one had no water pressure, crazy loud clanging when using hot water, and water shower spigot shooting water out the fittings all over the place. For the good reviews, all I can think is people stay at Motel 6 in their other life and so this is acceptable. Really misled by the reviews and back to the nicer hotels in Beverly Hills and never again to the Hollywood Roosevelt. On the bright side, the suite space is large, at least ours were. If you don't care how nice it is, it has space, but no door between bedroom and living area on one, on the other, a barn door. It's musty. AC helps a bit. I was told to send my reservation confirmation email to the general manager despite showing to to the front desk (they had people in OUR two bed double rooms) and I did the next morning and got ZERO response. At the front desk they "believed me" but their manager who hid in the back didn't supposedly and said we'd reserved two king suites, which we did not. It's just not okay and they did ZERO to help, didn't adjust the rate or anything. I will contest with my credit card company and never stay here again.
