I stayed at this hotel for an unexpected travel! Caroline was so accommodating with assisting me in getting a reservation. The hotel was so clean and everyone was friendly, especially Mitch who greeted me with the warmest smile! I have gotten some of the best sleep due to their new Westin mattress and the black out curtains! This will be my go to hotel when I’m in town! Thanks Westin Governor Morris!!
My power went out so we needed a last minute room at the Westin. The service there is impeccable! Natalie was great and helped with reservation. Caroline was also amazing and made sure I got the room type I requested. My room was clean and comfortable temperature. Bed was so comfortable and blackout shades were the best! The food at their restaurant Blur Morel was amazing!! We had breakfast and dinner and my husband raved about the burger. I highly recommended the Westin Governor Morris for your stay, you will not be disappointed!
Super net, luxe hotel. Het bed lag heerlijk, de regendouche was fijn. Uitgebreid ontbijt. Aardig personeel

Good experience and excellent service!! Bedding and pillows were luxurious. Four stars because bathroom was outdated and dingy. Service ant front desk, restaurant, and bellhop was exceptional.
Horrible I wouldn’t recommend to anyone was charged fraudulent charges to the card we put in file the manager was not helpful at all I would never stay here again.
Nothing I had the worst experience here
Me and my family of 4 had an amazing stay here at the Westin Governor Morrison. The staff were spectacular, especially Anthony and Mitchell. If we ever make it back, we would stay here again for sure. Such a cute town!
Our stay at the Westin hotel was nothing short of amazing. The staff was welcoming, attentive, and went above and beyond to make our wedding weekend special for us and our guests. The accommodations were beautiful, clean, and comfortable, and everything ran smoothly from check-in to check-out. It truly added to the overall experience of our wedding. We highly recommend this hotel to anyone planning a special event or looking for a nice stay
I had a terrible experience at this hotel. There elevators didn’t work and they charged my card whatever they felt like. I had to complain at the hotel for charging me close to 6k just staying there. No one that works there seems helpful. No manager actually wants to do there job. I even have proof they do whatever they feel like when it comes to the price. If you want to hangout you at a hotel get over priced and belong to someone family banquet every other day then come on down. I recommend better hotels around and don’t use Marriot for this locations.
I recently hosted a company retreat at The Westin Governor Morris and had an incredible experience from start to finish. The entire team was incredibly helpful, attentive, and made the weekend seamless.
A special thank you to Charday Morris, who was exceptionally detail-oriented and supportive throughout the entire planning process. Her organization and responsiveness truly made a difference.
The venue itself is beautiful and perfectly suited for events like ours. I couldn’t have asked for a better team or experience—everything exceeded expectations. I would highly recommend this location for any corporate event or retreat!
Absolutely amazing check in to a beautiful hotel. Mitchell, the doorman/concierge/attendant was absolutely delightful and helped with our bags and getting settled in our room. So far, the customer service is top notch. Couldn’t be more pleased! Thank you to Mitchell!
Easy& great check-in experience, especially with Mitchell’s help, along with a beautiful room.
The staff here are incredible at The Westin Governor Morris in Morristown New Jersey. The bed was exceptionally comfortable, and the blackout curtains actually worked. Mitchell, the bellman at our hotel, provided truly exceptional service during our stay. He was warm, attentive, and genuinely eager to help with anything we needed. He went above and beyond to make sure every detail was taken care of, offering great recommendations and ensuring everything was arranged smoothly. His professionalism, kindness, and knowledge made our experience even more enjoyable. It’s rare to encounter someone who takes such pride in their work and treats guests with such care. Mitchell is a true asset to the hotel, and we are very grateful for the outstanding service he provided!
The Westin Morristown exceeded expectation-comfortable, elegant, and well run. Special recognition to Mitchel, whose excellent service and friendly demeanor set the tone for the stay. Will absolutely return.
We booked our wedding block with this hotel under Charday Morris and Christina and it was an amazing smooth process. We are so happy with how organized they were, their communication with guests booking their rooms, and any last minute changes. Anytime I visited the hotel they met with me to discuss anything wedding related and made us truly feel like we didn’t have to worry about anything. When the day came guests had a seamless check in process. We did have a few guests that had some issues with their rooms and they were immediately accommodated to new rooms as well as given restaurant vouchers to try and solve the inconvenience. The hotel also provided shuttle service to and from the wedding, which included a lift for our handicapped guests. If you are getting married at a venue that uses this hotel do not hesitate to book with them!
It is always amazing staying here. The staff is friendly and professional. The rooms are always clean.
Nice accommodations , great bar and restaurant . Mitchel showed us to our room and took time to show us everything. He was great !
Nice lobby area and restaurant.
The heating/ac was horrendous. Could only use heat option on thermostat and set at 65 degrees. The room heated up to 75 degrees. Unable to adjust. Unable to sleep. Felt like a very dry sauna. Unacceptable to have it set it to be heat only at certain times of year.
This place should probably get 3.5, but 4 seems too high, so I’ll go with 3. The biggest drawback is the age and fact that the rooms are very dated and worn down. It does sound like they’re aware and are working on renovations, so that’s good. My room, and for that matter, the public spaces as well, were clean and comfortable. However, my room was quite dated. The sliding bathroom door was kind of falling apart. The bathtub area, while clean, was definitely in need of a makeover. The TV in my room didn’t work. The window in my room was so dirty, you could barely see outside. I wish they had water fillers in the common areas instead of just old water fountains. Others in my work group mentioned problems with the AC or other issues in their rooms.
Anyone in the general hotel staff I came in contact with, including the front desk, were very nice. One issue with a morning waiter in the Blue Morel restaurant, but I mentioned that in that review.
Also, it’s really secluded from anything, so you can’t easily walk anywhere from here. I wouldn’t specifically avoid staying here again, but I’d probably check other options first.
