Not all OMNI resorts made the same. Location is not bad
Service. I was being ignored with all my requests. Nobody showed us to the room. Took us 20 min driving around to find it. Electricity did not work on arrival. Contacting them over email did not work had to drive to the front desk to get an engineer to fix it. They try to get out of cleaning our room. Texted us to opt out of it for charity. After cleaning they left folded rug in bathroom remaining folded. Only towels were replaced. They gave us 2 creamers for 3 people. When I asked for more. Front desk lied they will be there only in 20 min when he knew well there is nobody on yet to help me. When I drove inAGAIN to get the creamer. He handed me coffee tickets but was dismissive rather than apologetic. It was supposed to be luxurious end to our road trip. But it was the worst out of 6
My wife and I had a wonderful stay at the Tucson Omni in May. We had two events to celebrate, my wife's birthday and our daughter's graduation. Communication I'd like to call out as exceptional. In the days and weeks leading up to our stay, Myken Dahlen reached out numerous times to ensure we were all set. She was able to confirm a one-tier upgrade prior to our arrival through the Amex program we booked with. Upon arrival, she met us in the lobby to welcome us to the property and tell us about the amenities. Throughout our stay, numerous staff members reached out to make sure we were happy.
When we made it to our room, we found some very nice gifts for my wife's birthday, to include a unique bottle of wine I had mentioned as one of her favorites and some other thoughtful presents. Service and care were top notch from this team, who frequently went above and beyond the call of duty to ensure a pleasurable stay.
That night we had our best meal of the stay at Bob's steakhouse. Food and drink were exceptional, albeit expensive, though I have to admit it wasn't quite on par with the original Bob's in Dallas. We ate breakfast every day at one of the other onsite restaurants, and we ate at the pool a couple of days. These meals were good but nothing spectacular.
Speaking of the pool, it was nice, with a towel attendant and full service bar and plenty of umbrellas for shade, as desired. Most days were pretty relaxing, but there were a couple that were more of a party vibe. If you're looking for more of a chill atmosphere, there's a second pool near the tennis/ pickleball courts that's usually less populated and more family friendly. The front desk also has pickleball paddles to borrow if you want to get a workout in. The main building also has a better-than-most fitness room. And, while I didn't take advantage of it, the golf course looked well-maintained and pretty forgiving, from the holes I could see.
Overall, service and care were 10/10, and facilities and food were 9/10. Well done, Omni. We'll be back.
Would not recommend. Pool bar closed Monday thru Thursday. No ice machine in hotel wing, Recliners at pool were frayed and old appearing. Need to walk to pool bar for ice and the ice machine was broken therefore needed to walk to bar for ice. Room large, nice and comfortable. Did not live up to 4 star rating. Omni resort in Phoenix much better! Not worth the money!
Everything about this resort is beautiful. The golf course is in amazing condition especially for summer in Arizona. The staff was so friendly and welcoming, our room was perfect, the food at the restaurants was amazing! Breakfast at desert farmer was absolutely delicious. We can't wait to go back. We needed a place to relax and this place was everything we needed.
The staff was exceptional. Our casita was comfortable and spacious with stunning mountain views. The spa wad relaxing, the pools were fun and the drinks were cold.
The best staff I've experienced in a long time at any hotel or resort, truly amazing people. The facilities and cost of food services, is holding them all back from being a five star facility. Let me be clear I'm ok with higher cost if the facility was better. I hope they're spending all that money on the people because they should have remodeled 10+ years ago.
Trip was fantastic! Such a beautiful property. Beautiful property that has been nicely updated on the inside. Lobby bar looks to the Catalinas and staff is wonderful. Upon check in there was an issue that was completely out of control of the hotel and the staff went out of their way to make it right and add some amenities to our trip. Bob's steakhouse was a delight as we were celebrating our anniversary and they went above and beyond to celebrate us! We will be back!
Absolutely amazing! The staff made us feel like king and queen. The best room and view. Super accommodating. Great amenities. We only left the resort once.
We love the cleanliness of the property

Terrible customer service, rooms are tired and worn, food is mediocre. We booked through the AMEX Fine Hotels program and this hotel should be removed. Customer service was terrible except for The waitresses at the restaurant and the young employees in the gift shop were very helpful and kind, but the front desk was terrible and the rest was mediocre at best.
I loved the location, I loved the vibe of a vintage luxury hotel. It was clean and smelled good!! Rooms are very spacious and well appointed. Bathrooms are luxurious- large soaking tub!! The staff at every location were superb!!!
I didn’t factor in that a vintage hotel means more walking, more stairs, thin floors between rooms, no covered parking, small balconies / patios. The pool furniture is really old and worn. Not enough umbrellas for shade to go around.
Beautiful view of the mountains, among the Arizona desert, golf course property. Stayed in Hacienda suite for a wedding. Quiet area, but also family gathering amenity with a bit larger fridge. Ice cold fruited water in the lobby was a welcome option, and the new flavors they made each day. In Arizona this is greatly needed. Food was good. Our wedding rehearsal dinner experience was fabulous due to the good food, but more so the A-team wait staff of Richard, Lara, Kristen and others Richard and Lara specifically attended to our needs as hosts and carried on to the wedding reception, remembering our beverages, always asking if they are needing and going the extra mile to assist with our special fun Bridgerton theme, Richard extended his service by serving our Lady Whistledown society papers to our guests, found foam ear plugs for our grandson who was reactnig to the loud music, and more. Lara took my idea and props and pulled it together perfectly when I had to dump it at it her with no notice. She attended especially to my son with special needs providing him and remembering his favorite beverages and needs. Golf cart availability to shuttle you around the property was appreciated. Staff service was excellent, terrace is a lovely place to sit at nigth or in the morning. Quiet in our area at the casitas. Refrigerator in casita was great, but needs a freezer portion for a bag of ice, plates and tableware for four in the casita that has a kitchenette type area. Spacious bathroom, private small patio with an outdoor sofa, little sweet lizards nearby to watch them scurry,
Beautiful and relaxing yet close to everything in Tuscon. Staff so nice and gave great referrals too. Perfect resort experience.
Okay. Not the Omni experience that I was looking for. Definitely a resort. Single level properties. A few bugs... Most likely wouldn't stay here again.
Overall a great couples retreat. My wife and I really enjoyed the food, spa, and golf experience. Maybe though what stands out most is the quality and atmosphere the employees create. Everyone we encountered seemed genuinely happy working at Omni and it really showed with their attitude and engagement with guests. It was a great week, thanks.
I give the Omni Resort and Spa in Tucson a 10/10 for the entire experience! Everything was so inviting and pleasant throughout our stay including the staff, delicious food, beautiful grounds, and our room. The bed was uncomfortable at first but I asked for a mattress topper and that made all the difference! We enjoyed the pool and pickleball courts and had such a fun and relaxing time. I went with my husband to celebrate our anniversary and we are excited to return with our kids to share this amazing place with them!
Wow! This place is fantastic. I was just passing through and only needed a one night stay. This place kept coming up in my search but I initially dismissed it as I knew it was a resort meant for longer stays. But the price compared to quick-access hotels so I decided to book as it seemed more serene and conducive to a good night's sleep. It absolutely was & delivered in spades.
Sean at the front desk warmly greeted me and my pooch and gave us recommendations for last minute food. Room was more like a suite and despite its age, it had been thoughtfully updated in all the right ways - it felt warm, cozy, & classy southwest. The property grounds were incredibly well kept and despite my short stay, I woke up refreshed in a way that I knew I would not if I stayed elsewhere. I kept thinking I need to come back here for a proper vacation, which I certainly will do! Highly recommend and thanks again to Sean!
I have been traveling to Tucson for the last 30 years and have had the opportunity to stay at every single resort in the city multiple times, and this was my first stay at the Omni, and I was so pleasantly surprised.
What a really terrific stay. I was greeted warmly at the front desk and absolutely loved the scale of this property. Other Tucson resorts are huge and overwhelming and this property was so cozy and despite being totally sold out for a conference did not seem the least bit busy or crowded. Everything is easy to reach on foot, all the spaces are intimate and close by, and everything overlooks the golf course and city and is absolutely quiet and beautiful.
My room was much more like a suite than a room. It was fresh and smartly decorated in a modern Southwest style with a very comfortable bed, curtains that did a great job of blacking out the room, great shower pressure, a huge bathtub, quality toiletries, a sitting area, walk-in closet, extra bathroom sink, and a nice view of the golf course. The furniture looked brand new.
Parking was right outside the main door of the resort, close by and free. The WiFi worked well and was free and fast.
What a terrific stay. I think I have a new favorite resort in Tucson!
This was an amazing experience. Food at every venue was fantastic. Would definitely recommend and i would love to return.
