Our favorite hotel when visiting Bangkok! The location is super convenient, right next to all of the major malls. The breakfast selection is very good as well. The hotel is on the older side but the rooms were well maintained and comfortable.

I always stay here when I go to Bangkok w/c I frequent. Beautiful hotel in a perfect location. You step out of the hotel and it’s the skywalk. Friendly and accommodating staff, great food & perfect location. I always have restful nights as well. Love this hotel and I don’t think I will even bother trying others.

The Grand Hyatt Erawan has become one of those rare hotels we return to not simply because of its location or facilities, but because of the people.
The hotel is exceptionally well run, yet never feels corporate or impersonal. Service is warm, intuitive and genuinely thoughtful, whether at reception, in the restaurants, in the club lounge or from the housekeeping team. Small details are remembered, preferences are anticipated, and problems, on the rare occasions they arise, are dealt with quickly and graciously.
What distinguishes the Erawan most is its sense of humanity. The leadership is visible, the staff appear empowered to care for guests properly, and there is a consistency across departments that many supposedly more luxurious hotels fail to achieve.
The rooms and suites are comfortable, the location is outstanding and the food and beverage offering remains one of the strongest in Bangkok. But the real reason we keep returning is the feeling of being genuinely welcomed back.
Luxury is not simply marble, flowers or expensive rooms. It is competence, warmth, generosity and grace. The Grand Hyatt Erawan delivers all four.
This was our home away from home. I’m an actor working in films and animation and my wife is an editor. We stayed for a few days twice on our one month Thailand trip. The staff was immaculate. The chef David was a dream come true. He asked about my food allergies and then made me a special meal of things I had been craving for the whole trip. As a celiac it’s very difficult to find safe food that has been prepared with my medical condition in mind. David made sure I was fed and had an amazing date night with my wife. Please stop in and meet David, he’s personable and kind and if you need something specific, he will take care of you in that Hyatt style you have come to expect. The hotel isn’t new foot had a few upkeep issues around the edges but after tea at the roof top pool and the amazing water pressure and steam sauna in the spa… I felt like a new person. As an actor in movies I’ve been able to experience a fair amount of luxury, luxury tends to be expensive…but CARE like this is priceless. . Thank you Hyatt and Chef David. Hope to see you again soon.
