Passt schon alles in allem
Pros:

Sehr freundliches Personal, tolles Frühstück a la carte und sehr schön am See gelegen.

Cons:

Lovely boutique hotel close to Aviemore.
Pros:

Lovely boutique country hotel a few km out of town. Has cute rooms with everything you need including comfy beds and big fluffy towels. Breakfast was included and was delicious. We cannot fault anything.

Cons:

If you are not quite mobile it has 3 floors of quite steep stairs and no lift so ask for a lower floor room.

Cosy stay with great food
Pros:

Very friendly staff. Excellent service during dinner - very personable and attentive. Excellent food - high quality, very tasty, traditional options for dinner but with a twist and range of options incl vegetarian. Breakfast was also good and plentiful.

Cons:

Nothing really to mention here. Decor is a little dated (or 'tradtional' perhaps). The place is not in walking distance to other facilities but this was fine for us - just something to be aware of (should be obvious from looking at a map). Quiet location despite being close to a minor road with quite a bit of traffic during the day.

Tolles Country Hotel mit schottischen Charme.
Pros:

Sehr schön gelegen an einem See. Gutes Essen und stets aufmerksames Personal. Meine Frau und ich würden jederzeit wiederkommen.

Cons:

Great staff, great location shame about overpriced small evening meal
Pros:

Setting was lovely despite the rain.
Room was small. Bed comfortable and lovely soft pillows.
We could just see Loch Alvie from the small window.
Sitting room had comfortable chairs.
Staff very friendly and helpful

Cons:

We booked for evening dinner as we'd had a long afternoon and were very hungry.
Although the food tasted nice, it was overpriced. My husband had lamb, the most expensive item on the menu, which allegedly had 'rostis and red cabbage'. The meal arrived with a small medallion of lamb in the middle of a large plate with one small rosti and microscopic red cabbage, hidden invisibly under the lamb!! My fish and chips was expensive and allegedly had 'peas'. It had a green 'swipe' which probably amounted to two peas worth. Desserts were microscopic. Not food for the hungry or who like vegetables!! 9
