The location is great. The Hotel seems to be having refurbishment works happening. Most of the rooms have been refurbished although there’s still some “old” rooms left unrefurbished. The staff are nice, and professional. The bonus is the free EV charging stations in the carpark. If you have an EV and stay at this hotel charging your car overnight is a bonus.
Lovely large rooms, very clean and comfortable.
Staff were all very friendly and helpful.
Breakfast buffet had a great variety of food to pick from. Close to restaurants and attractions.

Reception staff were amazing! Check in was a breeze and any interactions we had during our stay were great. We stayed in an executive twin room for 5 nights for a conference on the 9th floor facing Abbott Street. No noise from other rooms but unfortunately if you’re staying on a Saturday night the live music from the Casino (directly across the road) can be heard until early hours (including several patrons of said casino filled with merriment at around 3-4am :) ). Rooms were decent sized and aircon was freezing. The only complaint was when we checked in there was a used bottle of water under one of the beds and we thought, they’ll clean it the next day but it stayed there our entire trip as well as one of their complimentary eye swabs that was left on the floor near the window to the balcony. The other loss in star is that my favourite thing in a hotel (by my many reviews) is strong water pressure and hot (hot) water which Pullman had both but unfortunately the room we stayed in had no bathroom induction fan and so after every shower we were at the mercy of fog for a good 10-15mins.
Would stay here again but definitely not for the price we paid as it was too expensive and non inclusive of anything which is a shame.
Location is great as you’re only a 5 minute walk from Pier/Marina with great restaurants such as Dundee’s, Waterbar and Salthouse or a cheeky drink at Howling Jays. It’s also within walking distance of the esplanade, night markets, gilligans markets and cairns central.
Well appointed bathroom.
The booking confirmation sent by the hotel MUST tell people that there are two Pullman hotels in Cairns and to make sure they go to the right one. I drove using Google Maps to the wrong one and then had to drag my luggage through the streets, already exhausted after long and delayed flights. Also, at the prices paid, it's reasonable to expect a barista at breakfast, not insipid machine-produced coffee.
