Clean, comfortable, nice setting, wonderful staff.
We could not use cellular internet access on first floor. We do not use hotel wifi. I had to stand out by my car to send texts, emails, etc. Low flow shower very disappointing. Barely enough pressure to get shampoo out of your hair. These two items are the reason we will look elsewhere next time.
Great family owned property on a nice piece of land in Palo Alto. Two restaurants right at hand. Nice pool.
All good. A couple more Tesla chargers would make sense. The restaurant is totally fine. However, drinks from the bar were not especially well made.
Very pleasant environment with pool, restaurant, and interesting grounds, fun artifacts.
We were staying at Dinah's with 3 other families. Our last morning there, we looked forward to having breakfast by the pool as the kids went swimming. Unfotunately, they were pressure washing the cement around the pool and we had to go elsewhere to eat.
We have stayed here many times, and it never fails to delight us. Perfect site and perfect attention to details for a comfortable stay
We like everything
The grounds are beautiful! Loved the lagoon and lush plants, koi fish and ducks.
Didn’t like that we had to wait 20 minutes for our drinks we ordered from the bar. No bartender on duty at 2:55pm when we ordered. Drinks were finally made around 3:15.
As usual, everything was absolutely perfect at Dinah's! We had a mini
fridge that wasn’t working and immediately maintenance brought us a new
fridge that was larger and actually even better for what we needed. Our
grandchildren who live nearby came and joined us to swim and feed the ducks
and the Koi and it was all just perfect. We can’t wait to come back again.
We’ve heard that the new Christmas train is amazing and we will happily
await the email to book for the holiday season!
Koi Pond is Fabulous
Location, large clean room, smart tv to stream my device, updated bathroom, quiet, and beautiful koi pond with clean swimming pool.
The mattress was too firm, probably needs to be updated, no microwave, & only a beverage cooler not a fridge.
When we opened the door, a bad smell welcomed us. Not sure what it was, it smelled like old wood. I called the desk and they asked if we wanted to be moved. I said, no but please bring us some air cleanier. The rug needed to be cleaned, there were lots of dark spots on the carpet.
Flowering gardens everywhere, canals filled with koi, and a great vibe poolside for food & drinks
It's a lovely setting. I enjoyed sitting by the pool at the restaurant. Even though the motel is on a major road, the pool area is enclosed and like a little oasis. Just very pleasant.
It's pricey for what is essentially a motel, but that is explained by its location in Palo Alto.

Room was spacious, quiet and comfortable. Housekeeping was very friendly and professional. We got an upper level room at the back and didn't have a view of the gorgeous fountain areas, but it was still very quiet. Temperature control was great and lighting had many dimmers and options. Blackout curtains were perfect.
Check-in person was a little short, but checkout person at front desk person was very friendly. So, just a little mixed there. The shower head was a bit too controlled (low water flow).
Free parking, good location, spacious room, comfortable bed.
A comfortable chair in the room would have been appreciated.
