The Westin San Diego Bayview

Great experience at this hotel. Rooms were clean, service was stellar and made you feel well taken care of. The bar and restaurant at night have to be the best part. David is extremely personable and knows how to make just about every cocktail under the sun! Even when busy he always kept a smile on his face as he talked to guests.
Pool and Fitness Center are very nice as well located on the third floor. Everyone we interacted with went out of their was for us to enjoy our stay.

Before I even arrived at the Westin San Diego Bayview, Aaliyah delivered some of the best customer service I’ve experienced. I called ahead with several questions, and she was incredibly patient, friendly, and thorough. She took the time to explain everything clearly, made sure I understood all the details, and genuinely made me feel confident and prepared for my stay.

It’s rare to receive such attentive and thoughtful service over the phone, but Aaliyah went above and beyond. Her professionalism and warm attitude set the tone for a great visit and truly stood out.

The Westin is fortunate to have someone like Aaliyah representing their property. She made a fantastic first impression, and I highly recommend this hotel thanks to her outstanding support.

This hotel is fabulous. First rate with lots of amenities. From the monogramed robe to magnifying makeup mirror to the luxurious bedding. When I arrived I found a yummy dessert and a Happy Birthday card in my room. Simply amazing. How many hotels do that!!

While it was busy at the hotel things were still done at a reasonable time. The staff was very nice and flexible . And the valet was very good u had a gentleman named Isaiah bring my truck down for me multiple times he did it quickly and safely and always held the door for my family and I. It was greatly appreciated. I would definitely stay here again

Right downtown next to Midway and ferry to Coronado. Clean hotel living up to Westin standards. Reasonable prices and great staff!

Had such a great experience at the Westin Bar! David, Ike, and Carlos truly were so friendly, welcoming, and attentive, and they made me feel safe and comfortable the entire time. The atmosphere was fun and enjoyable, and their customer service really stood out. We’ll definitely be coming back next time we’re in San Diego!

Our stay at the Bayview was truly amazing! Ending our nights at the hotel bar was one of the best parts. David and Monette behind the bar were incredibly friendly and made me feel right at home! They had great recommendations for restaurants and were very friendly and easy to talk to. I would come back here just to see them, I would recommend!

We loved our stay at the Westin San Diego Bayview! I looked through so many hotels before landing on this one and I am so thankful we stayed here! Our nights ended so nicely at the bar with David and Monette! David gave us the best breakfast recommendation in Old Town. They were very personal, kind and really took care of us. It felt like coming home each night after our busy days in San Diego! Would highly recommend!

Stayed at The Westin Bayview recently and honestly had a really great experience. The hotel was clean, comfortable, and in a perfect location downtown with easy access to everything around San Diego.

The best part was definitely the bar. The drinks were great and the vibe was super relaxed. Big shoutout to the bartender David who made the whole experience even better and very memorable. He was friendly, attentive, made amazing cocktails, and just had a great attitude the entire time. You can tell he actually cares about the guests having a good time.

Overall the staff was awesome and I’d definitely stay here again. If you go, make sure to stop by the bar and ask for David.

Our event coordinator Kristina set the tone beautifully — knowledgeable, warm, and genuinely invested in making our event a success. She guided us through every step of the planning process with expert suggestions and seamless communication, giving us full confidence before we even arrived.

Kevin then took the reins for on-site coordination and delivered with the same level of excellence. Every detail was executed precisely as planned — nothing fell through the cracks. Marco, the food and beverage manager, ensured that both our breakfast and lunch service were flawlessly presented and absolutely delicious. The level of care in the culinary experience matched everything else about this property.

What truly set this team apart was that Kristina, Kevin, and Marco didn't simply hand things off and move on — each of them checked in personally throughout the event to make sure everything was running smoothly and that we were completely satisfied. That kind of proactive, hands-on attention is rare and made an enormous difference. It speaks volumes about the culture of service at this property.

Our welcome reception in the lounge was a highlight. The lounge staff were attentive, gracious, and created a warm, welcoming atmosphere that set the perfect tone for everything that followed. The meeting spaces themselves were stunning — set up exactly to our specifications and ready precisely when we needed them. Every seating arrangement and detail was handled with care and professionalism.

Alexis, the valet manager, greeted every one of our guests with genuine kindness and made arrivals feel effortless. The front desk team checked in our entire group with efficiency and a warm smile — no one was left waiting, and everyone felt valued from the moment they walked through the door.

This was not just a hotel stay — it was a fully orchestrated experience that exceeded every expectation we had. The Westin San Diego Bayview and its incredible team turned our event into something truly unforgettable. If you are planning a corporate event, conference, or any group function, look no further. I can’t recommend this bar enough! I visited a few months ago with friends while staying at the hotel and had such a great experience that I came back with my husband for a date night. We enjoyed dinner and drinks at the bar, and once again, it did not disappoint. David is the BEST—so personable and welcoming, and he makes absolutely killer margaritas (our favorite!). We’ll definitely be back.

The staff in the bar and restaurant are superb. A big Thank You to Monette, Harriet, David and Chris. They were terrific for the two weeks that I stayed at the hotel. Helpful, courteous, generous with wine pours and overall great service!! Terrific staff at the hotel.

Twin Queen beds are so comfortable and renovated room is clean & quiet. The view from 15th floor room is beautiful. The breakfast buffet is delicious and the bar food is high quality.
The hotel location is perfect for sightseeing, short walk to the Midway museum at port and MTS Trolley depo. , even to Little Italy. So convenient and Fully recommend to stay.

While there were a couple of issues that made the experience less than ideal, the hotel staff took considerable effort to address my concerns quickly. I would stay at the property again if I had a business meeting in San Diego

From the hotel lobby to the bar and restaurant, the elegance is quite apparent. The ample elevators make it simple to shuttle up and down to the room with ease. The room was very comfortable, with a huge window that spanned the room, a large swivel TV and a wonderful rainfall shower. The gym was large with many cardio machines, machines and dumbbells and even an outdoor lap pool. The conference rooms were huge and provided an amazing venue for our company's annual conference.

I do not enjoy traveling and having to sit on the floor when showering. It’s unhygienic. I asked for a shower chair, never received one. I’m missing a leg so you can understand where I’m coming from
