Très bel hôtel, très confortable, idéalement situé pour découvrir George Town

Parfait pour un séjour en ville au calme

Overall, still is a good value for money and l would return the next time l am in Penang.
Pros:

The room, bed, furniture arrangement, room size, bathroom were all just right.

Cons:

As it is situated right beside a busy road, traffic noise can be a bit of a challenge at night.

Perfectly located, modern hotel
Pros:

Very comfortable, clean and new hotel in an excellent location. One of our rooms had lovely views over the Jetties and water. Easy pick up and drop off for Grabs at the door. Accommodating staff, we could easily leave our bags before check in. Walkable to all old town attractions and very close to the Jetty food court which had delicious and inexpensive local food for dinner.

Cons:

Was quite pricey for George Town and was a generic world-style hotel so doesn't provide the cultural/local experience that staying in other styles of accommodation can. Perfect if you want comfort at the end of the day though! It was lovely place to stay otherwise and the location is hard to beat.

Super locatie en zeer aardig personeel. Vooral lieftallige dame genaamd 'May'. Zij maakt dat je de dag goed begint.

Good comfortable stay.
Pros:

Location and staff. Thank to Wanei(sp?) for keeping our room so clean. The bed was comfortable. Nice linens, hot shower with good pressure.
Breakfast staff met us every morning with a big smile. They kept the buffet full and hot, with a variety each day.

Cons:

The pillows were too thick and hard for my liking. They did have two kinds but would still too thick. Pool was too shallow, basically only a plunge pool

Highly recommend!
Pros:

Honestly such a great find. After a bad night’s sleep elsewhere I booked a night here looking for some quiet and comfort. Rooms are squeaky clean, staff are lovely and very helpful and the whole atmosphere is calming and peaceful.

Très bien situé
Pros:

Très bien situé et confortable.
Petite piscine agréable pour se rafraîchir, mais ne comptez pas y faire des longueurs, elle est très peu profonde.
Le personnel nous a préparé des petits déjeuners à emporter pour notre dernier matin où nous sommes partis très tôt

Il manque une machine à café pour par exemple faire des cappuccinos au petit déjeuner

Family stay in Penang
Pros:

SAVV hotel is brilliantly located within George Town. Clean and modern are large rooms made a great retreat at the end of a hot day. The hotel felt small and local - its breakfast was excellent with lovely friendly staff (who even got bananas in especially for au hisand!). The pool is small but a welcome treat after a busy day. A useful addition may be a drinks fridge or small bar for the evenings.

Overall, we were quite happy with our stay at the hotel.
Pros:

Location is very convenient , next to the Jetty and old George Town. The breakfast was quite good, the staff was very friendly and helpful

Cons:

Rooms overlooking the street can be noisy at times.
