Install ice machines 9 out of 10 as is would rate a 10 with the machines
Pros:

The rooms were very clean and updated with nice little touches such as complimentary bottled water, etc

Cons:

My only problem with my stay was no I’ve machine on any floor. That being said they did give me ice for my room at the bar but, that took the convenience out of it.

I would definitely stay there again next time I am in the are!
Pros:

Everyone was super helpful and friendly! The valet people were willing to help me with my luggage and gave me an excellent place to eat on my way out.

Cons:

The ice machine was broken. It looks like they are renovating the are so it wasn't installed yet. Had to search for it.

Our stay was enjoyable, but would have been better with improvements to the room and the restaurant

The Staff was very friendly.
The room was clean and comfortable.
The Riverwalk was beautiful.

Cons:

The building was undergoing renovations on the 5th floor (where our room was located). The room had several electrical outlets that didn't work. The water temperature was tepid (barely had hot water). The view was terrible (we only saw the top of the building where the ac was located (no type of scenery at all). The hotel did not include breakfast for the guests and we were not informed that we had to make an additional purchase to include breakfast during our stay. When we checked out the onsite restaurant, we found the menu to be very limited, so we went outside of the hotel for our meals.

Newly renovated hotel on the scenic river walk
Pros:

We stayed at the Southbank Hotel for the Miss National Teen & Collegiate Pageant. The newly renovated lobby is beautiful. Our room was comfortable and the staff was very helpful. The outdoor pool is also very nice. In addition, the hotel is just steps away from the scenic river walk. We would definitely stay here again. I would recommend this hotel to vacationers, business travelers, and those seeking to host a large event.

Great stay!
Pros:

Amazing stay! The hotel was spotless from top to bottom, rooms were perfectly clean, fresh, and well-maintained. Staff were friendly and everything felt high quality. Definitely a 5-star experience, would stay again! Visited for MNATC Pageant.

Top notch staff and location!
Pros:

Fantastic staff, service, and location! The hotel will be beautiful once renovations are complete. Great value for price.

Cons:

Hotel is under renovations so bar area has been moved to restaurant and restaurant wasn’t open for breakfast or lunch on certain days. There were fruit flies everywhere including our hotel room.

I've had better experiences off the interstate
Pros:

Far too many things that were absent I tried to send a complaint to Marriott but over the course of three days and it will never upload. Bar closed, restaurant serves double duty but had one person scheduled to serve in a holiday weekend. One ice machine working in the entire place yet no staff had correct info. No vending, no lobby store, registration desk actually closed for a period of time. Only Jalissa, and the valet people were kind and even the valet service I was overlooked for nearly an hour. This is THE WORST AND IT RUINED A HOLIDAY IS LOOKED FORWARD TO FOR A YEAR!!!

Cons:

Everything, room service wouldn't answer asking the other things already listed. I had to come back to list the dead bird that was in the smoking area ten feet from the front door and it was there at least my entire stay.
