From the UK. After a week staying in hotels in France with a similar budget, this one doesn’t seem so bad. The room was comparatively spacious, it was clean and there was a kettle. The staff allowed us to have a little milk from the breakfast buffet (which we didn’t use) for our tea in the morning. The loo in our room was very low down so if you struggle with mobility it might be a problem, but there may be higher ones in other rooms. At no point did I wake up with a sore neck so the bed must have been good enough.
The down was that the aircon wasn’t particularly cold and the first night I was very very hot. However, the next day I asked for a fan and it was quickly brought.
The pool is small but nice. A lovely setting. However the sun loungers are very uncomfortable deckchair style.

It is a special building with lots of history but it feels a bit unloved and under invested in. We felt it could be a lot more special and perhaps a bit more cosy with soft furnishings, pictures, rugs etc…. But then it might not have been in our budget!

- im neuen Anbau schöner Balkon mit Sitzgelegenheit
- Zimmerwechsel war problemlos möglich, das Personal sehr zuvorkommend und freundlich!
- Das Frühstück war insgesamt in Ordnung, aber leider war das Rührei aus der Tüte und wässrig - das sollte man ändern! Auch wäre eine größere Auswahl, z.B. auch beim Obst, schön!
- Das Selbstkochen-Müssen der Frühstückseier ist gewöhnungsbedürftig! Besser wäre es, zumindest hartgekochte Eier immer anzubieten, und nur die 3-/5-Minuten-Eier auf Wunsch selbst kochen zu lassen
- Das „Cloître“ ist so ein schöner und alter Ort - da hätte man sich ein wenig mehr Sorgfalt bei der Dekoration und Einrichtung der Räume gewünscht! Etwas, das dem Charakter des alten Klosters gerecht wird und mit Fingerspitzengefühl Tradition mit modernem Komfort verbindet.
- Im alten Bereich sind die Toiletten ZU niedrig (quasi auf Kniehöhe) - und im neuen Anbau auch der Toilettenraum viel zu eng - man passt gerade so hinein, Männer über 1,80 Größe haben schon ein Problem, sich zu bewegen! Da wäre es gut gewesen, den riesigen Wohn-/Schlafraum etwas kürzer zu machen, und dafür den Platz an den Toiletten-Nebenraum abzutreten!
Beautiful cloister, very helpful and friendly staff. We were in a standard room, I would upgrade to a nicer room. The location was fabulous if you come by train, walk straight out about a block, then go left right before Italian Queen. Nice and quiet also.

Lo descuidado que está a pesar del esfuerzo que hace el personal de limpieza que lo hace con esmero .

Avignon is beautiful and this hotel is perfectly placed to explore. The hotel room was modern and clean and the building was old historic and beautiful. The pool was small but very pleasant after a hot day of sight seeing.
I feel if the pool could be lit up it could be opened a little later considering how hot it was. Also the fan in the room wouldn't turn to Aircon mode. The room was still considerably cooler than the outside but still warmer than I ideally like to sleep in.
