Der Meeresblick hat gehalten was er versprochen hat
Sauber ist anders, überall waren lange schwarze Haare, selbst im Kühlschrank und unter den Tassen.
Beim Frühstück wurden wir immerhin vorgewarnt dass es lediglich Kaffee oder Tee, Ei und ein Brot gibt, allerdings hieß es es gäbe Frühstück ab 7:30h, da hat sich aber leider noch niemand zuständig gefühlt und wir mussten zum Ausflug. Am zweiten Tag haben wir dann bemerkt dass wir am ersten nichts verpasst hatten.

Beautiful building in great location
I liked everything but bed a bit hard
La grande chambre et vue sur le port
Le personnel ne parle pas anglais. Le petit déjeuner est plus que minimaliste (2 œufs, un bout de pain).
Le centre de vie est plutôt au niveau de la plage que le port. Attention il n'y a pas de Grab. Et très peu de taxi.

Nejvíce mě překvapila plíseň a nečistota na zdech.
Mravenci a ještěrka u stolu na snídani. Velmi špinavé nádobí, ze kterých jsme měli pít kávu a dolít mléko.
Lokalita - pěšky je to asi půl hodiny do centra.
Nemožnost si koupit vodu na recepci - v jiných ubytováních to šlo.
The location is just perfect: it is the closest hotel to the harbor for a boat trip in Ha Long Bay.
The staff is extremely nice and helpful. You can even get laundry for a cheap price.
The room and bathroom were not clean with dirty floor. Since they have a price higher than average in Cat Ba I would expect to find a clean room.

it was as close to the harbour where the boat tours set off as possible
Just a bad experience id recommend staying away from - they overbooked the hotel so had to move hotels for the first night whilst i got blamed for “booking late” and also basically wanted us to cancel the booking and stay elsewhere so they didn’t have to deal with it! with no apology. Had no hot water in room during our 3 nights which is obviously not good. Then on checkout we asked about compensation as we had only spent 3 nights there and 1 night in an even lower star hotel and of course the hot water and the aircon didn’t rlly work and got ignored, shouted at and with no intention to take responsibility what-so ever.
