I understand people will enjoy, but id recomend its not worth the risk!
Pros:

it was as close to the harbour where the boat tours set off as possible

Cons:

Just a bad experience id recommend staying away from - they overbooked the hotel so had to move hotels for the first night whilst i got blamed for “booking late” and also basically wanted us to cancel the booking and stay elsewhere so they didn’t have to deal with it! with no apology. Had no hot water in room during our 3 nights which is obviously not good. Then on checkout we asked about compensation as we had only spent 3 nights there and 1 night in an even lower star hotel and of course the hot water and the aircon didn’t rlly work and got ignored, shouted at and with no intention to take responsibility what-so ever.

Great location
Pros:

Best thing about this Hotel is the proximity to the harbour from where cruise boats leave. We stayed two nights, the first we were definitely the only guests. The staff greeting us on arrival were very friendly but didn’t speak any English and didn’t seem to know anything. We had the distinct feeling they were housekeeping staff put in charge for the low season. The Hotel Wifi didn’t work at all and the free CatBa Wifi was constantly interrupted.
The room was clean with a great view and the aircon worked. Lots of places around to have lunch or dinner

Pros:

If you go there for the boat tours, this is THE place to stay. All of them start early in the morning, and the hotel is in 50 meters from the boats. Also two friendliest ladies are always ready to bring you coffee, eggs and banh. Room is as a simple and modest as this breakfast, but the view is amazing, the stuff is friendly, you have everything you need for a very fair price
