Beautiful hotel in a wonderful location
Pros:

The Inn at Laurel Point is the nicest hotel I have ever stayed in. We stayed in the Erickson wing, which was an upgrade from the room I had reserved, as we wanted a balcony we could sit on. It was a bit pricey, but we felt it was worth it. We had a stunning view of the on site Jaanese Gardens, as well as the bay, where we could watch the floatplanes take off and land, as well as the water taxis. Our room was huge, so was the bathroom. We ate breakfast each morning in our room, which arrived hot and on time and it was delicious. The location is walking distance to everything you to want to see as a visitor, like the Royal Museum, Fisherman's Wharf, Beacon Hill park, the Empress Hotel for afternoon tea, aswell as Chinatown and Old Town. We can't wait to return!

Cons:

Nothing really. Everything was wonderful.

Sorely in Need of Updating
Pros:

This was an unfortunate choice for our wedding anniversary! If they are going to continue to charge 5 star prices, then do some revamping! Two stars solely due to the very friendly staff.
If they want repeat customers, owners may want to consider fixing/changing:
-loud A/C fan; install window sheers for privacy; change smelly herbal shampoos-allergies; mattress far too firm; wash off dirty balconies; install hand held shower heads.

Loved our views of the sunset and inner harbor
Pros:

Friendly staff, terrific location and great views. Comfortable bed.

Cons:

Room was a little dated but clean bathroom tub/shower is a little awkward needs updating to nice walk in shower. Restaurants and hotel are pricey but I guess that’s what you get in July

Victoria and Surrounds are just so very clean and beautiful!
Pros:

Unfortunately renovations were being carried out but we all know that had to happen. The noise did not commence until around 10am so this was acceptable to us.

Good location with a perfect view
Pros:

Nice hotel, a really good cafeteria with great sandwiches, near the center of Victoria with a view to the ocean, in total it feels a little bit cold, not a really warm welcome, the room has some signs of being often used….
