Great Hotel, rooms are big and clean. Friendly staff. Hardly notice the airplanes. We stay here every year for a few nights. Love the warm cookies in the afternoon, and the scones in the morning

Tesis cok büyük ama 2 asansör var. Bircok defa asansörde otel personeli ile karsılastık. Bazan kocaman bir temizlik arabası açtı bize kapıyı. Otelde aynı zamanda seminer ve etkinlik düzenleniyor. Havuz ve spa bölümündeki şezlongları topluyorlar. Yerine yemek ve kokteyl masası koyuyorlar. Son gün 1 tane bile şezlong yoktu havuz çevresinde. Garip bir otel. Ne olacaklarına karar vermeleri gerekir. Otel mi kongre salonu mu?

Prices too high compare of the room
Conveniently located, and very nice amenities.
Moises is not a friendly or hospitable person. I am in hospitality myself and found his lack of willingness to help very troublesome. I reserved a 2 night stay, my plans ended up changing and I needed to add a night to my reservation, he very rudely said “no we can’t do that, we nothing available” then after I pressed and said “well what if I don’t check out on the third day and just stay?” To which he replied “well you can’t do that we have other reservations and nothing available!”…I said “ok I’ll call you after I’m settled, just check me in”.
After checking in I go on Trivago and book a third night not 30 minutes later, on the third day I come down and tell the woman at the front desk that I have a reservation for that night, would it be possible to just merge it with my existing room. To which she replied “of course, we can do that easily”.
Bottom line is Moises just didn’t want to do anything and refused to actually be of help. He needs at the very least to be retrained in the art of hospitality and the very worst let go.
We enjoyed our stay at the Ayers Hotel in Costa Mesa. Staff was very friendly and helpful. room was clean and comfortable. loved the Restaurant and other amenities. We would definitely stay here again.
Had restaurant, pool and provided morning coffee.

Ayres Hotel Newport Beach consists of 2 separate buildings. For the first time I was given a room in the main building, which I liked less than the building next door, where I’d always stayed previously. This room only has a regular sized bathtub, where the other building has large sunken tubs which are great!
The only thing I don’t care for is the way the police/security sit at the front desk or out in front of the hotel in the afternoon/evening. I think that’s weird. It sends the wrong message. Just saying…
Clean room and the airport shuttle was very convenient
The elevator was not functioning properly. Also because it’s so close to the airport, you can hear them flying nearby. However because of the 10pm curfew for the flights, it wasn’t an issue. I’ve stayed at other Ayres Hotels, which included breakfast. This location doesn’t offer that but you can purchase at the on-site restaurant.

The hotel was reasonably priced, and the rooms were clean and spacious. The location was 20 plus minutes to the attractions we wanted to visit which was not too far for us to drive and aided in keeping the price lower.
No breakfast was offered with the room. In today's market at least a continental breakfast would have been a nice addition. The lobby elevator also had issues during our stay and did not get repaired while we were there. Parking was available for an additional fee, but very limited and difficult if you have a large vehicle.
This place is a little gem and it deserves to be crowded. Timeless, warm, thoughtful design. Clean. Courteous staff with a desire to assist; multiple front desk managers, shuttle drivers, restaurant staff all impressed us. The rooms were well organized and comfortable. The restaurant was great and actually pretty affordable. Not just microwaved scrambled eggs and bad drip coffee but steak and flatbread and really decent foods. We used the gym and it was excellent. Good quality machines. Well stocked. Clean weights. If I need to visit the area again, I see no reason to stay anywhere else.
This is the best hotel experience I have ever had. It’s better than home away from home!
