Well maintained hotel in downtown.
Minor issue was that this location is on the fringe of the part of town that has a larger number of street people. When exiting the lobby, turn left to reach the better part of downtown. Turning right towards the river you will encounter more street people.
Location, style, room
Nothing
Very nice hotel and very very friendly staff. Rooms are big and very clean and quiet.
Breakfast is VERY minimal. Eggs, roosted potatoes, beacon, fruits and cereals. That's it. not even bread of cheese. Parking is about 60 per night. I did not know that but downtown Portland does not feel safe at all. Very scary experience. This of course not on the hotel.
Очень необычный отель! Интерьер завораживает. Расположение хорошее. Очень понравилось лобби. Много интересных картин и инсталляции. Советую к посещению.
That it’s next to a bar. That bar is lit. But also the room was super awesome and had incredible patterns. My friends and I had a wonderful trip thanks to the help of the staff from this hotel.
OVERPRICED! $6 for water. They told us we had free waters but placed the waters at the front and had the free ones hidden away….. suspicious… rude even…
Great staff, everyone was very friendly and kind. Also very helpful. Nice quiet hallways without any loud noises. The location was great, very central to everything.
The hotel had a bit of a musty smell but that's understandable since it's an older building. We did have to request a mini fridge but had no issues getting one.
Location was central with lots of stores and restaurants w/n walking distance, rooms were spacious and clean. The hotel gym was nice with plenty of amenities. The decor was certainly interesting.
Breakfast was minimal for cost, though we got 1 complimentary voucher per day. It was weird that you had to ask for room cleaning services, and our bathroom door handle was broken. Shame they did not have a pool, but we did know that prior to booking.
The location is good for visitors wanting to experience Portland (a small city anyway, with good mass transit). The hotel succeeds at carrying out its sort of quirky vision. It's comfortable and clean, and when we staye there it was surprisingly inexpensive.
The breakfast set up wasn't very useful (breakfast options were so few that we skipped it, since my daughter doesn't eat eggs or pork).
Met all our needs
Excellent affordable breakfast
$75 pet fee for one night.
Being in the middle of diwntiwn Portland is good and bad. There are many one way streets all in the area, and parking can be a challenge if not used to big city travel. Parking in underground parking was tight and hard. The hotel is 100 years old but is updated. If you want a fridge or microwave in your room, we gad to add for one. The room doors are heavy and load when they self close. The staff was great and friendly. There is a shopping mall within walking distance. There is a lot of street people in and around the area. There is midtown beer garden that has 20+ food carts around the corner.
The modern fun decor, love it
The shower could use some work. There was no warm level .
Looked cute
Staff checking us in we’re awful and they left me locked out for 20 mins in the middle of the night as they had failed to mention I needed a key card to get in the lobby at night, when my partner came downstairs to let me in one of the attendance told him not to go that way because it was a crazy woman outside lol I’m 22yrs old on the street of Portland at midnight on the street instead of assuming I was a guest there they left me out there
The price was fair.. locstion is great
