We recently stayed 4 nights at ANA Crowne Plaza Fukuoka with my spouse and siblings, and we booked a total of 4 rooms. During our stay, we met a staff member named Yi Fei, and we truly wanted to express our appreciation for his outstanding hospitality and support.
As we were travelling in Japan, the language barrier was sometimes challenging for us. Yi Fei went above and beyond throughout our entire stay to assist us patiently and professionally. He kindly helped us communicate with the team, supported our requests, and even assisted in arranging a room upgrade for a bigger room as requested by us.
What impressed us most was that although the bigger room only available for 3 nights, Yi Fei continued to coordinate with the hotel and successfully helped us retain the bigger room for the full 4-night stay. This made a huge difference to our trip and made us feel genuinely cared for.
His service attitude, initiative, kindness, and willingness to help truly reflect excellent hospitality. Employees like Yi Fei create memorable experiences for guests, and we sincerely hope the hotel management recognizes his dedication and professionalism. He absolutely deserves recognition for the exceptional service he provided.
Thank you once again, Yi Fei, for making our stay so comfortable and enjoyable. We will always remember your kindness and support during our trip to Japan.
The only downside is the smoking room is closed at 10pm.
The lobby area was impressive, nicely decorated and interesting. The breakfast was outstanding. A nice mix of traditional Japanese and western foods. Several made fresh as you waited. Overall the staff was pleasant and professional.
The rooms. The twin room we and our companions had was very dated. So unexpected after having seen the lobby area. Rugs were old and dirty, furniture was clean but beaten up from wear over the years. The bathroom was also dated but very clean.
The hotel was in a great location centrally located to the train station and the center of Fukouka. It's a comparatively large hotel with lots of amenities. They offered a free happy hour in the Mezzanine Lounge for guests that included really nice food. The staff was very courteous and helpful;. They even arranged a taxi for us at 4:45 am Tokyo time to take us to the airport. The hotel is super clean and well maintained. I would definitely stay here again.
Like most hotel in Japan, the room is small, but the bathroom is exceptionally small. It reminded me of a bathroom you would find in an RV.
Hotel classique dans le genre , bien tenu , salon lounge de qualité , personnel à l'écoute , proche de la gare

We stayed in this hotel for 3 nights on our first visit to Fukuoka.
The major selling point of this hotel is its location which is located about 5 minutes walk from Hakata station. Hakata station is a major transit point whereby the JR trains and Shinkansen stops. Not forgetting too the subway stop for 2 of the city's subway lines. To get to the hotel, look for the exit 24 West which will lead you to the junction and after crossing it, the hotel is right in front.
If you are arriving at the international terminal, take the free bus to the domestic terminal which is about 5 minutes ride. Then get onboard the subway which is the Airport line and in 5 minutes you arrive at Hakata station.
Many places of interest are located within walking distance from the hotel like Canal city, Tenjin, Kushida shrine, Kawabata shopping arcade etc. The subway lines from Hakata also takes you to most of the attractions in Fukuoka like the Fukuoka castle, Ohori park, Nishi park, Hakata port tower etc. Food is not an issue as you can easily find restaurants, cafes, bakeries and the ever popular convience stores in the vicinity.
Staff are friendly and greet you whenever they meet you. The only issue is that the furniture could do with a bit of upgrade. Otherwise, we are rather okay with the room and facilities provided.
Overall a good hotel to stay in considering the rate we paid. Will stay again if we do come by Fukuoka.
駅近だが、静かだった。
ロビーの椅子が少なく、待ち合わせが不便だった
The rating is adjusted to reflect the good location, the relative scarcity of nice hotels in the area, and the relatively low room rate - if not any of that, the rating would be lower. The room was old with dirty carpet and in need for renovation but it was functional with good size for Japanese standards - no issue staying there. Bedding quality was rather good - nothing upscale but I was able to sleep well despite the jetlag. The restaurant was disappointing, had dinner there one night and I regretted it - mediocre food of cheap quality that is more western than Japanese. The staff was truly great - as polite and helpful as one could wish for, certainly made the stay at the hotel more pleasant.
