The breakfast was superb and actually the best we had in Japan. Location excellent. Staff friendly
The room we were given was in need of refurbishing and very outdated. It was small and dingy and not worth the price we paid.
Honestly this is not one of my best stays in Japan. As a Diamond member I was not upgraded because my 6 night stay was too long but that's alright. Upgrades are based on availability and not guaranteed, and the hotel offered 5,000 points in compensation. But the room they gave us seemed to be the smallest one they had. It was the size of a shoe closet and barely enough for two people. The bed was pushed up against the wall, which made it feel less like a hotel room and more like a college room. Furniture and decor was also feeling very tired. It was just very disappointing to be put in such a cramped and old room. The pillow was also way too soft and very uncomfortable.
Perhaps the only saving grace for this hotel is the service, which was exceptional all across the board, and the location. It's within walking distance to Hakata station and there is a bus stop right in front that takes you to Tenjin and other parts of the city. The breakfast buffet spread was small but it had a fairly extensive Japanese food section with many local delicacies.

Fitness centre is a little poor condition and oprning time is a bit late in the morning.
ビジネスホテルとは違うラグジュアリー感と、スタッフの接客が丁寧で良かった。
チェックインの時、フロントの横でスタッフが「掃除してないってことですか？そんなはずないんですけど」という内容の会話を電話で大声でしていて、宿泊客に対する物言いとしてはとても厳しい口調だと思いました。これからチェックインする客に聞こえるところでそんなに大声で話さなくていいのにと思いました。

Amount of seating on the reception area very limited
Location is not too bad, bed is clean but for a four star I found the staff to be subpar - the checkin receptionist 草野 or something had a very bad attitude
Some of the staff were rude
ホスピタリティーが素晴らしかったです。フロントの案内も的確に提案してくれました。外出から戻るとエレベータをのボタンを先回りで押してくれたり、廊下で出会っても挨拶してくれて気持ちよかったです。
会員になるとお得なサービスがついてきたので入会してよかったです。
1階のラウンジの対応が遅かったのでかなり待ちました。
