My family felt comfortable, staff was friendly, and we had fun!
Pros:

Very clean and nice amenities, walking distance to beach access, close to lots of restaurants and activities!! Especially enjoyed the pool design so my toddler and older child could both enjoy.

Close to the beach and clean.
Pros:

The space of the room was great and the breakfast was really good.

Cons:

The bed was not very comfortable and the pillows were small. I also found some small details in the room that they need to fix.

Pros:

I liked how clean and spacious our room was. I liked the full-length mirror, microwave/fridge, and couch. Although I did not use the pool, I know many families with children loved it. I saw where there was live music nightly by the pool. There was also breakfast served every morning.

Cons:

Our stay at the Comfort Inn was disappointing for many reasons...
1. Although the standard check-in time was 3:00 PM, we were told in advance that we could check in at 2:00 PM. Upon arrival, we were informed that our room would not be ready until 2:30 PM, and we ultimately were not able to check in until 2:50 PM. The changing information was frustrating and VERY inconvenient.
2. I was unaware that the Comfort Inn in Gulf Shores had relocated. Unlike the previous property, this location is NOT beachfront and does NOT have direct beach access. I paid extra for a balcony under the impression that we would have a beachfront view. Instead, our balcony overlooked large condominiums, and there was a LOUD, constant hum from the AC. I wonder how many people have booked this hotel thinking it was still in its previous location too...
3. We were assigned a corner room on the 2nd floor, which included a bedroom window. Unfortunately, the blackout curtains only covered a SMALL portion of the window, allowing SIGNIFICANT sunlight into the room. The brightness consistently woke us up, making it difficult to sleep. Also, the view from this window was of the AWNING.
4. Parking was limited. I saw people having to park elsewhere and walk to the hotel. I overheard an employee mention additional parking was available, but no information or signage was provided about its location (that I saw).

If I would have known these things before hand, I would have not booked this hotel!

It was more than i expected.

Cons:

I did notice a spot of black mold in the top of the ceiling in the closet space...forgot to report to front desk. Also, forgot b/c I did not utilize it.
