Prima modern hotel in Chester
Pros:

Prima modern hotel in Chester. Alles op wandelafstand. Vriendelijk onthaal, mooi kamers met goede bedden en sanitair. Alles wat we willen voor twee nachten in Chester.

Pros:

Good location close tobthe centre. Quiet room, clean bathroom, bedding and towels. Kettle and hairdryer in the room. Basic breakfast included.

Cons:

Carpet didn't look clean, holes in curtains. No air condition in the room. Car park not for free for guests (£12/night)

Cons:

Great first night not so second hotel full of kids who kept running along corridor knocking on our door keep my son awake till after 11pm

Very disappointing, as I really expect more from an IHG hotel
Pros:

Staff were friendly. Downstairs was nice, cool and air-conditioned

Cons:

Bedrooms had no air con and quite stuffy - bit of a problem in the very hot weather. There was no mention of this on the site at booking. . The bathroom had not been cleaned properly (in particular the toilet). Small, but very annoying point - I tried to buy a chocolate bar from the vending machine - it did not work and, when I complained the response was "nothing I can do about it - it's not our machine. It's always doing that!" Also no refund, as the hotel is "cashless".
