Pros:

El Hotel está perfectamente ubicado, tiene lo justo y necesario. A pocos pasos de la playa y con trasporte público en la puerta que te permite ir a los puntos más importantes de San Diego sin usar el auto.

Was here for high graduation for my grsndson
Pros:

Location to beach, boardwalk and PB

Cons:

Toilet needs to be reseated, it rocks when you sit on it, sink faucet was loose, refrigerator door would get stuck when open due to improper leveling. Would have preferred more patio privacy.

Pros:

Room was decent and location excellent, but front office service is awful. On our last night, there was a domestic violence situation in another room and no one from the management responded even after being called several times. The police ended up coming at 4am. It was an awful experience. A female guest was screaming for help and begging us to call 911. Several other guests called 911. Sadly the Police took 40 minutes to respond. Management should have had an emergency protocol for Hotel guests There was no response from management or the hotel owner even though a detailed message had been left on their phone at 3:30 AM. They never followed up either. This was very disappointing. Mini Hotel guest were very upset by the incident.

The room was shockingly large for a basic room. It felt very spacious. Shower had great water pressure and water heated up quickly.

We moved to another room which was much better.
Pros:

Good location. Helpful and responsive front desk staff.

Cons:

Room 11: Bed was very uncomfortable. Moldy window casings. Shower leaked a puddle onto floor. No face or hand towels in room.

Pros:

The location was great!

Cons:

There were some maintenance issues that need taken care of. The bathroom had a strange oder, just in the bathroom. Could have used a deep clean, not real bad but needed a more thorough cleaning. I might check out other places next time to compare.

Great Stay!

We had a fantastic stay at Pacific Shores Inn in San Diego! The location is unbeatable—just step to Pacific Beach, restaurants, and shops, making it perfect for a laid-back coastal getaway.
The rooms were clean, comfortable, and well-kept, with everything we needed for a relaxing stay. The pool area was a nice bonus—quiet, clean, and great for unwinding after a day at the beach.
What really stood out was the friendly and helpful staff. They made check-in easy and were always available if we needed anything.
Overall, Pacific Shores Inn is a great value for the location. If you’re looking for a simple, comfortable place near the beach with great service, this is a perfect choice. We’d definitely stay here again!
