2nd stay here no air conditioning wouldn’t put me off staying here again

What a perfect little gem of a hotel discovered
Pros:

Breakfast was super busy but also ran super efficiently. The staff were quick to ensure a table was found within a few minutes of arriving at the restaurant. The selection was huge! Ranging from continental to full English. Fruit and yoghurts, pancakes and juices. Always plenty of food available. Great hot drinks machines too. We ate dinner a couple of evenings in the Italian restaurant but found it to be rather expensive. The service, however, was second to none. Nothing was too much trouble, and the service was prompt. The rooms were perfect. We had requested our 2 rooms to be near each other, and we were lucky enough to be directly next door. This made it much easier to meet for breakfast, etc. Evening entertainment was brilliant. Definitely something for everyone. The variety of activities for the children was also a really great offering. The pool area was lovely. Unfortunately, the weather wasn't that great when we went, so we were not able to sit outside around the pool as we had hoped. The location of the hotel is brilliant. There are a couple of nearby C0 OP shopes nearby and it is a short walk into St. Helier. However, the buses also run frequently from the bottom of each road, so getting about is super easy. We spoke to many families who regularly visit Jersey and always stay at The Merton Hotel. This speaks volumes for the hotel, and you can see why. All the staff were absolutely faultless. They clearly love their jobs at The Merton Hotel and are treated with respect and gratitude. This shows on their faces all day through. We especially loved learning about the history of the hotel and its owners. 10/10 from us :)

Cons:

We would have loved a little side salad or garlic bread with the lasagne etc. The children's meals, although good portions, could have perhaps included a drink or dessert, as it was quite a lot for just the main.

Really good holiday experience
Pros:

Auqadrome. Entertainment. Food. Staff professionalism and friendliness. Have nothing to say that did not meet our requirements.
Due to extreme heat the hotel had put standing fans in all rooms and this was much appreciated as it made sleeping at night comfortable.

Pros:

Un emplacement au calme mais proche du centre (10-15 min a pied). Le parking gratuit est tres pratique. Chambre tres propre, personnel aux petits soins aussi bien a la réception qu'aux restaurants. Petit déjeuner tres copieux et magnifique. Espace aquatique exceptionnel surtout en pleine canicule.

Absolutely beautiful hotel. Staff were so so friendly and extremely helpful. Location is excellent. Staff are constantly cleaning every minor detail but subtly I might add. Swimming pool was lovely. Thank you Merton Hotel. My family had a great time thanks to your hotel.

Bonne adresse à jersey
Pros:

Le service et la disponibilité du personnel. Les installations, plusieurs restaurants, piscine... Idéal pour les familles avec enfants... beaucoup moins adapté pour un séjour en couple.

Cons:

Un peu loin du port et du coeur de ville.
Début de la rue principale 12 min du port 20 min.
Les tarifs pour une chambre correcte mais pas plus dans l'ambiance britannique (moquette, salle de bain)
