I bit cheesy, but friendly and clean

A great location and comfortable hotel.
Pros:

This hotel is very clean. Our bed was comfortable and we slept well at this hotel. Food was plentiful at breakfast with lots of choice. We try to watch our weight so we were pleased there was plenty of fresh fruit and natural yogurt available each morning, plus scrambled egg. We chose this hotel because it is very close to the town centre so we could easily walk into town and the hotel has a big car park (free for guests).

Cons:

I didn't use the gym as it looked a little small and it was busy when I looked in. We went into the cabaret on our first night but it was too loud for comfort so we didn't bother on subsequent nights.

Comfortable and enjoyable but not long enough

Beautiful
Pros:

There isn’t a single thing I could fault about the Merton hotel and its staff. Rooms were cleaned every day, fresh towels , communal areas were regularly cleaned. Every single member of staff was lovely and went above and beyond for my family. The restaurant staff were amazing with everyone and so welcoming, the restaurant manager tended to my sister personally as she has allergies and the food was beautiful.We really loved our stay

Great buffet at the Belvedere
Pros:

Very polite and friendly staff throughout the hotel, very welcoming and informative at the reception desks and very friendly and smiley in the restaurant areas

Cons:

We had a bit of a problem finding our room on the first day on account of the fact that it began with 400 but was not on the fourth floor. Although in fact, the reception staff had explained the route to the room so it was our fault really!

Pros:

Food in all restaurants was of high quality, good choice of options (especially for a fussy child!). Staff were all really helpful and friendly. Hotel has lots to offer including entertainment and kids club.

Overall a good stay
Pros:

Breakfast was good. They had a show at night that was very delightful.The room was comfortable and clean. The staff was very accommodating.

Cons:

Made reservations for the buffet for 8PM. As soon as we got there a they started clearing out all the food, We were unable to get our salads before they put them up and left us with little choice of the main course.
